Easy access to hotel and situated in a quiet location. We pulled into the parking area to read our room information and as we were doing that, the young man who worked in the office came to our car, welcomed us, helped with check in, gave us our breakfast voucher, etc. Refreshing welcome - different from any other hotel where we have stayed! Comfortable room that appeared recently updated. No matter what hotel we stay in, I always check the bathroom first (this one kept some of a retro look which we liked) and if that looks clean, I check the sheets. Extremely clean room. Comfortable beds & pillows. Easy connection to WiFi. They have a room where you can get ice and each occupant can also help themselves to a bottle of water in the cooler. The voucher for breakfast was for the Speckled Hen directly across the street. Great breakfast. Popular place - rightly so - wonderful fresh breakfast selections! We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend The Carriage House. Nice job from start to finish. Thank you!
