its a small hotel but safe and quiet
Even though the counter manager was courteous and polite, he was sometimes hard to get a hold of and not in the office.
Not the best, not the worst.
Economical. Clean, conveniently located. Friendly staff. All was great.
The place is run down and need work
The worst hotel experience of my life. The rooms are dirty and extremely deteriorated. I mean awful. We had a group of 24 and rented 8 guest rooms. Everybody was upset and disgusted about the conditions. The bed sheets were dirty and stained, the walls are dirty, cobwebs, paint ships, carpet dirty, floors sticky, strong and persistent cigarette smell in every room, trash under de beds, unsafe conditions, broken and leaky faucets, and much more. We had to go to Target and buy bed sheets sets for some of the beds. We sprayed the rooms with glade odors eliminator and Lysol just to be able to breathe and bathe. Don’t stay here, it’s better to sleep in the car. When we raised the issues to the attendant at check out he said he was sorry. It’s like “sorry” is all they can offer to 24 guests for a night of extreme dissatisfaction. We payed $100 per room but this is more like a $40 roadside deal.
It was an easy check-in and the property was clean. It's close to all attractions and dining. There was a moldy smell in the hall area, less so in the room. The complex and amenities are somewhat dated, but was reasonable considering the cost. It could use additional lighting. There was only 1 roll of toilet tissue in the bathroom and the bath soap did not produce sufficient lather.
I liked that the showers water was hot. Here is what was awful - The room was dirty, the ceiling was leaking, it smelled like cigarettes and mold, the tv and phone didn't work, dirt on the cords, lamp was broken, exposed switxh in batbroom that had the switch broken off, yelling all night, loitering in the parking area late in the night, etc. No one in office at check out. I could go on but assume you get the picture. This place should be condemned and not be listed on your website as a place to stay. Dangerous area! If we knew how bad this place was we wouldnt have stayed but we got in too late to change. It was an awful night.
Rooms were really shabby, not clean. Accessibilty was a joke. Family that owns hotel were in room next door and had their door open making access to ours difficult. Their children were running around the halls and up and down the noisy stairs until past midnight.
good in relation to price which first and foremost is about cleanliness. Booked a two queen bed room and got just that, a clean place to pass the night.
Comfortable, simple and good price. friendly staff
The room they gave me it was supposed to be non smoking and it smelled like cigarettes it had so much fleas all over the beds it’s a nasty place don’t have an idea why is this place open for real.
The name implies connected to the Amish. Far from it. They evidently rent to weekly stays or longer. People sit outside and smoke day and night, staring at the other guests. Very unsettling. One of these, our neighbors got into loud verbal fight early in morning. Words we never heard and dont use. Went on for prolonged period. No front desk during night, making for unsafe environment.
We liked the location and the pleasant staff. We did not like that there was a smell of someone having been smoking heavily in the hall and stairway which was improperly covered up with a perfume spray. Thankfully, this smell was not nearly as bad inside the room.
No person is in the office just in case there’s emergency breakfast is late, not enough towels even they added another $10 extra.
The lady at the desk, couldn't have been more pleasant. Great customer service. The rooms were spotless. Beds very comfortable and the sheets clean. The shower had great water pressure with lots of hot water. Also had ample parking. Definitely planning to stay here again.
