They sent a message for pre-check in which would let them notify us if a room was available for early check-in but the link would not work because it asked for Reservation code, but we only could find the Travelocity Itinerary code in all the emails which didn't work.
The hotel could use some better signage for the West tower elevators.
We chose an OceanView Room, however looking out our window we could see the parking lot, warehouses, other business building, and the mountain. If we went out on the balcony via the clunky sliding door and looked around the wall we could see the dock and coastline to the south. Also if the occupants to our left went out on their balcony they could look into our window and get a partial view of our room.
All the staff (check in, front desk, parking, restaurant, etc ) were friendly and helpful.
