Such a fun place to stay! Amazing staff, delicious food, fun environment. The tent was super!

Its not Hotel but its not camping. It was fun experience to stay there. There was a wood burning stove and really nice seat settings at lobby. I'd go back or try their other tents!

Excellent from start to finish! We had a family set up - tent for me and husband with a teepee right next to us for our teen daughter. Perfect set up for us all to have some privacy. We painted rocks and canvas, made s’mores, listened to a great guy singing outside, the food (and wine) was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Husband and I did the 0730 yoga ❤️ Great way to start the day. Sunset and sunrise are spectacular. Check in and out was simple. I def want to come back for longer! The perfect antidote to a couple of days in Vegas!!

My husband and I booked a tent here for the first two nights of our honeymoon. It was $400 a night so we were expecting a fantastic experience! We were disappointed when we got there and realized that there was no electricity in the tent and no heating other than the wood stove in the tent. This was the middle of October so it was quite chilly! We got a tent with a private bath and were disappointed that you had to pull on a chain to keep the water running in the shower the entire time. The first night was sooo cold and we had to get up at least once an hour to feed the fire. Otherwise we would have froze to death. Consequently, we got barely any sleep. The next morning the wind was so fierce that it caused the wood stove to back up and the tent filled with smoke! Everything we brought was absolutely saturated in smoke. We had to move all of our stuff to a different tent. The wind continued on all day and sounded like a literal hurricane in the tent. We knew that we would not be able to get any sleep if the wind continued and also knew we’d have to keep the stove going all night again so we checked out a night early because we were so miserable. For $400 a night this was one of the biggest disappointments ever! Such a complete waste of money. If food had been included it might have been worth it but we also had to pay $50-$60 for both of us to eat there each meal. If you love camping then go camping. There is no need to spend $400 a night for the experience.

It’s an incredible place to spend a night or many, under the stars. The staff is super friendly and their evenings by the fire pits with live music and s’mores are a beautiful experience.

It Is a unique property. At night so you can see the constellation and the stars. Really had a really good time.. my kids loved it .

The experience at Under the Canvas was exceptional. The property was unique and scenic all around. The staff was phenomenal. Kind, accommodating and overall nice.

This is a great halfway point for those who want to enjoy the outdoors but don't want to exactly be 'roughing it'. Large canvas tents on wooden platforms above the ground gives good distance from all the creeps & crawlies. Beds, bathrooms, showers, and running water in the tent (if you choose), and electric (Battery packs in the tent lasted for days) keeps you well enough in modern diggs that you wont miss walls. Real (and real good) food available cooked at the main tent keeps your belly happy w/o having to spark a fire. The perfect outdoor experience for those like myself who don't REALLY want to deal with living the 'outdoors' lifestyle!!!

The property was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the food and wine were great, the staff were VERY helpful and friendly. We had to head out super early, so they set us up with to go coffee and breakfast even though they weren't technically open for food yet. My kids loved yoga and nightly s'mores. We're dying to try out the other locations based on our great experience here. Highly recommend.

Everything was unique. Loved the nightly smores. The staff were very nice and it was a wonderful experience.

Under Canvas is a very unique experience and terrific! Their staff was really nice too and the food was amazing! We would love to try it again at another one of their properties. The only thing one must be aware of at their Grand Canyon property is the poor road condition the final 7/10’s of a mile on the dirt road. It had huge washboards and we were on motorcycles, which was not safe for us or our bikes. Also, when we checked in and were shown our tent we were not told the battery packs for charging phones had a button which was not visible that you had to push first in order for it to work, so our phones did not charge: :( Thankfully we had mophies, as our phones were our source for navigation and taking photos. We were also not told there were towels in a cabinet between the bathrooms, so we used paper towels to dry off after showering...which we just chalked up to our unique experience lol. It is a great concept, but a bit over priced. If it were less expensive, more people could enjoy it ;)

LOVED everything! Food was expensive but we were prepared to splurge. Could use a little more space between individual tents but the entire experience was such a positive one, it's impossible to be disappointed!

Truly unique experience! Wonderful amenities at the property... great food at the onsite restaurant, s'mores around the campfire, complimentary ice and water for water bottles. The tents are quite large and very comfortable! "Glamping" at its best! Only downside was the directions from GoogleMaps tried to direct me via a dirt road across restricted property. Had to drive all the way to Flagstaff... so check your directions carefully.

Amazing concept of glamping, tent was nicer than many hotels. Loved this place. Food was amazing. S’mores very night. Great location near Grand Canyon.

We were impressed with the amenities in the reception tent! They had everything from clothing to games, a fire pit, and a kitchen with food and alcoholic beverages that was super convenient! All the staff was friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay!
