High Country Motor Lodge – in Flagstaff is a haven of pure design excellence. Every corner of the hotel exudes beauty and high-end style, making for a visually stunning and Instagram-worthy experience. From the chic decor to the thoughtful details, it's clear that no expense has been spared in creating an unforgettable ambiance. In addition to its impeccable design, the hotel boasts fantastic amenities that truly enhance the guest experience. We particularly enjoyed sipping on delicious cocktails at the onsite bar and browsing the little store, which offers a selection of unique gifts and products for sale. While the menu may be limited, the quality of the food is exceptional. Each dish we tried was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor, making every meal a delightful experience. Throughout our entire trip to the Grand Canyon, High Country Motor Lodge stood out as the best hotel we stayed at. From its stylish design to its top-notch amenities and impeccable service, it exceeded all expectations and left a lasting impression. We can't wait to return and experience its charm again!

Charming but …
This place will charm your socks off. Pluses are the use of a sauna which costs extra (cold plunge is the unheated pool) and the convenience of great food and espressos also with additional charges on site. Travelers should know that trains run all night and are very close by.
