Overall we had a good stay. Room had some glaring cleanliness issues (poop stains on inside side of toilet, hair in shower/tub, weird orangish chunks clogging the sink in the kitchenette) but other than that we enjoyed the property. Nice pool area, friendly staff, and good complimentary breakfast.

The suite was unique and not a cookie cutter type rental. It included a full-size fridge, and small microwave, dishwasher and a sink in the kitchen. The suite was spacious and clean. I would stay at this hotel property again and would recommend it to friends.

There are many dining and shopping options within easy walking distance. The hotel is pet friendly which is a nice option. The staff were great and very helpful.

Dark hallways, poor lighting in the room, tried but couldn’t get the room cool. Station guide for the TV didn’t line up so useless.

We were so looking forward to our stay in Duluth at your hotel. Come to find out we are in a room without any windows. Nowhere in the booking did it indicate that our room would not have at least a window. We went back down to ask the front desk about a room with a window and he told us it would be an additional $60. Anxiety and panic for suffering from claustrophobia set in as soon as we were in the room. Poor customer service and false advertising. Very disappointed and will not be back!

Not often you get a view of Lake Superior from the stairwell. Hot tub and sauna were great. Conveniently located. Breakfast nothing special, floors dirty.

Requested housekeeping day #2 and only were given towels and sheets..

We checked in Friday and there were a previous guests undergarments left in our room. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and medication on the floor of the bathroom also from previous guests. The air conditioning didn’t work and we told the desk numerous times. They didn’t move us until our last night so we slept in a dirty and hot room for 2 nights with our 2 kids. My son has allergy induced asthma which was triggered badly. We were still charged full price and it being Labor Day it was a pretty spendy room for no air conditioning and it being dirty and not fully cleaned and management made no attempt to compensate our bill for our inconveniences. We have stayed here before but won’t ever stay here again.

Great location and staff, facilities are tired.

It’s a lovely historic building with a industrial vibe. Spacious rooms but no natural lighting- no windows except the bedroom with a windows to the hall way/pool This was fine for sleeping but made it a little less cozy /welcoming for hanging out during the day. We received great customer service when there wasn’t a huge line to talk to the desk. They were a bit short staffed for the holiday. Our sofa bed was broken with a sunken hole on one side. Was ok as just one person was sleeping there. Just make sure to check it earlier in the night should you need to use it and have it repaired. We’ve stayed here before and prob will again. Can’t beat the location.

There were dirty dishes in the cupboard. Trash was full. The shower had only extremely cold or extremely hot - there was no mixing valve.

Converted concrete warehouse where many rooms have 20' tall ceilings, but no windows. Most parking is down a flight of stairs across the street, making it inaccessible to wheelchairs and luggage carts. Severely understaffed. Rooms are never ready at check in time, so expect a 90min - 2hr delay. Key cards rarely work on the first try, and often stop working entirely, requiring the desk to recode the cards several times during your stay. Suites are a decent size, but in poor repair and dirty. You may be unable to sit on the couch in your suite because it's covered in dog hair. Bathrooms have broken tile and drop ceilings in bad disrepair. Hotel lobby has a broken player piano and no bar. However, there is a nice brewery taproom just outside the lobby. Hotel breakfast offering meets most expectations, but you may end up with an undercooked waffle or some watered-down juice because some of the cafeteria equipment is malfunctioning. This hotel would be fine with some repairs and proper service, but as it stands, I would not recommend staying here, despite its convenient location on Canal Park and very close to the DECC.

We’ve always stayed at the suites and been quite satisfied, this time was the worst room we’ve ever experienced. Systems and comfort not up to their normally high level. We were very disappointed

Front desk staff was short and curt, the facility was superb!!

The rooms are spacious and staff is so kind. We’ve stayed twice so far and this is, so far, the best place we’ve stayed in Duluth!

It was convenient for doing all things we had planned without having to drive everywhere.

The room was more than we expected. It was nice to be in walking distance of so many places

We apologize for the confusion, our most economic rooms which are our interior studio rooms they don't have any windows. Every other room type we have in the hotel does have windows which face canal park or towards the cityscape. We suggest trying our bigger rooms out if you visit us again.
