The Oxford is a cool, well taken care of property with great staff. But buyer beware. We stayed at the Oxford on a Saturday night with a room that faced out onto the street. We were kept up from the hours of 10:30pm through 3:30am by people yelling, cars backfiring, and eventually, police, fights, and all kinds of noise. It's unfortunate because the hotel, people, etc. were amazing, but note that it's a busy area when you book.

The best staff in Denver, The Oxford!
We have stayed at least a dozen deferent hotels in Denver over the past 10 yrs. The Oxford stands alone in the quality of the staff. It seems anymore that customer service is not what it used to be, but not at the Oxford. They are completely wonderful, everyone of them from the Valet to the management. Who ever did the hiring and training for this hotel deserves a medal. The Oxford takes you back in time not just because it is the oldest hotel in Denver 1891. But, because you get a sense of the pride of service that used to be part of everyday life but isn’t anymore. We absolutely loved the Oxford!!!

I love staying at The Oxford Hotel. Their customer service from check-in to check-out is outstanding. Alex is always kind, helpful and knows what she is doing. She has great recommendations for food as well. The valet Stuart is very funny and ready to help. These 2 individuals are a true asset to this hotel.
