My sister and I stayed one night at City Mills and absolutely loved it. The property is beautifully decorated and the historic features such as the brick walls and wood beams were stunning. The rooms were very quiet and we could not hear our neighbors like you do in most newer hotels.
The staff went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We were greeted with smiles and kindness every time we saw the staff. We wanted to sit outside around the firepit but it was busy when we first went outside. We found another place to sit and were shocked when the hostess came outside to find us once the other customers had left. She had come to find us and walked with to the firepit and turned it on for us to enjoy some time hanging out.
We ate in their restaurant which was wonderful. We had the pork shank with vegetables and a side of scalloped potatoes and it was fantastic. The pork was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our waitress was great as well.
I cannot say enough good things about this property. I will definitely stay here again.
