I checked into this dated hotel. The staff at checkin was great. They did not tell us that the heat was not working, I had my five year old grandson with me and he got a cold. When I went to speak to the front desk the morning of 5/11, I was told that the building was apartment style, and if I wanted the room to be warmer to cut off the air conditioning. I was assured the would put a heater in the room. Upon returning to the room, I was unable to honk to my room because my room key would not work. Also, there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I went to the desk and was informed that I was checked out and my money for one day was refunded on my card along with my $50 deposit. That was horrible as no one took time to notify me of this change. Thankfully, there was a room we were able to stay in and of course it was cold. Horrible experience!!! Orbitz, I am seeing this a lot and I don’t want to see your brand tarnished.

If you are looking for somewhere that embodies the finer things in life, this is not a place for you. It is basically an old motel that Wyndham has taken over. The elevator is cramped, the carpet is old and the decor is minimal. But having said that, this place is totally adequate. The staff are friendly, the mattresses are firm, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is much nicer than I expected. It is not shiny and new, but I paid maybe half of what I would have paid anywhere else, so I am not complaining!
