This is a really neat hotel. It was built in the 1930's and still has some of that feel to it. The service was outstanding. The only issue was that people in my hallway were loud late in the night and you could easily hear them. The walls were "thin" one would say. Other than that, the experience was terrific.

Overall the stay was good. The location is top notch and service was great. A couple things that was concerning was the elevators got stuck on certain floors amd the bed mattresses probably could be replaced. The room was definitely dated but for the price the locationade that ok.

Gorgeous hotel with beautifully restored Art Deco style detailing everywhere you look. Nice big room, comfy beds, quiet and comfortable. Nice hotel bar/restaurant, easy access to several other restaurants, coffee shops, etc, within walking distance. Stayed here for a convention at the Duke Energy Center, and was a perfect place for that. Would happily stay here again.
