Our concierge TAMARA was amazing. She was a really sweet person who really wanted do to her best so our family could have a great time. The staff was great, the food amazing, but the rest was either average or below average. The room was big but it had roaches, water knob in hot tub did not work (no hot water available), sink in the kitchen was clogged up, water line was turned off from 11pm until 5am with no water available in our rooms, 24/7 room service was not available due to lack of staff after midnight, 90 min presentation ran for almost 5 hours, kids club only available for 4yr or older so nothing to do for kids under 3 other than the pool and beach. Pool walls and floor is made of little stones that caused multiple scratches on my daughter’s knees and toes, no evening show to watch, restaurant caprichos (buffet breakfast and dinner) was not good, not many options, very warm to sit and eat, sitting area very close to the food,

This is hands down the best all inclusive hotel/resort that I have been to in my life. We travel to Mexico annually and have been to other fancy places in the past and this place is my and my wife's favorite thus far. From the check in, till the check out, the service, ammenities and overall ambiance were superb and all employees seemed to enjoy making sure that we enjoyed our stay there. We arrived in the evening and we still received great service at the end of the day, which is often hard to get at the end of everyones shift. I believe that we were checked in by Juan Carlos, whom was so accomodating and he really made us feel welcome. We had made reservations ahead of our arrival and our concierge Sarah was able to confirm our reservations and we liked all of the restaurants. I was the most impressed with the array, variety and taste of the different dishes we tried.This alone will be the reason that we would return there. We liked how attentive employees were and the care given to presentation and the overall experience, even poolside where other places often fall short. Room service was great as well seemed that every detail was though off and we were able to relax and have a worry free vacation. My wife went to the spa and said that she really loved it Our 4 year old daughter did not want to leave and I cant wait till next year as we plan our annual vacation as Villa del Palmar will be our number one choice for a trully relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Thank you!

I reserved from Expedia 7 nights in that hotel for two people. My friend was sick and not available to fly to Cancun due her illness. I stay one night and due seaweed allergies did earliest check-out . Seaweed was in the ocean and smell so bad . Hotel not agree to return my money back for 6 unused nights and for 7 unused nights for my friend! When Expedia agent call to front desk,hotel worker give him wrong information about my stay in hotel . I lose 2641-44 dollars !

LOVE it!! The staff was very helpful, polite, and sideways smiling. The room was awesome and clean. The bed was one of the best I've ever slept on. The resort was very clean and safe. We will definitely be returning.
