The hotel was dated. There were very limited dining options. You had to stand in line at every restaurant and wait. All the staff expected gratuities, even though they were all inclusive. You had to give the waiter your room key every time you sat at a table which they would keep until you were done eating. I didn’t like giving my room key to strangers in a foreign country just to eat. The more money you showed the faster service you received. The staff were not informative on check in. We were not told how to use our 50.00 hotel credit so we missed out. No music at the pool. No nightly entertainment. Activities during the day were minimal.

This is our second time staying at this Royal Sends Resort Hotel and this time me and my family had to change rooms twice on first day on May10th 2024 and once again on 5/11/2024 during our 3 nights 4 days stay because Royal Sends Hotel prioritized their Time Share customers and forced us to give them a room change to. They also gave us 3 out of 4 rooms on the bottom floor with no ocean view even though I booked an ocean front rooms. 1. I feel strongly that I have experienced discrimination from the hotel. We are US Citizen. Nevertheless, we received Chinese greeting from the staff several times. 2. The Royal Sends Hotel forced us to move rooms, several times making sacrifices for their loyal Time Share customers. 3. I protested strongly but they insisted that it is my travel agent, orbitz.com, who has responsible. Our all 8 families had a awful vacation at this time.

Was a nice resort, if you need something from the store such as sunscreen the prices at the store are SUPER EXPENSIVE!!!!! A deck of cards was $12 kind of a ripoff

The property was very nice. All the staff were happy to help with any questions we had. Some of the things seemed out dated but not terribly. The pool tables were just okay but we had a great time!

The highlight of the Royal Sands is the excellent quality of the food that is served. Everything was delicious. An equally impressive trait of the Royal Sands is the polite and attentive service that provided to the guest. Royal Sands gets 5-Stars in both of these categories. The premises was clean and well kept. We have a wonderful time and we’d definitely go back!!
