The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The staff was very knowledgeable and polite with customers. The continental breakfast was delightul and had the best selections.

I booked a king bed suite (with sofa bed) for my family of 6. When I arrived, we were given a tiny room w/2 double beds. I called reception to let them know we were given the wrong room and this wasn't feasible for our family. The receptionist apologized and said come back down and I'll switch you rooms. So we all go back down and wait. She says ok, the only room we have has a king bed, but the sofa bed was broken so they took it out of there. She said we could give you a rollaway bed to put in there. Excited to finally get settled, we agree. Our family goes back up to a different room, Chris, the overnight receptionist says she will meet us up there with the rollaway bed. We open the door and its another small room, this time with only one double bed. We tell her again this room is not what we paid for and will not accomodate our family. She says well thats my last room, so either you can get a refund or I can call my manager. We all go back down together again and she calls Tonya. She says to her manager, I'm sorry to be bugging you, but I have a customer complaining. I offered her 2 different rooms and she isn't happy. The manager has her ask me if I am a rewards member. I say no, she says well you will have to call Expedia to get a refund. Before she hung up, she said to her manager, well let me handle this chick then I will call you back and she walks away from the front desk. At this point, I was extremely upset with the lack of professionalism of both parties.

Well Maintained Hotel

We spent one night on the road from Florida to Texas. The hotel was well-priced, clean, and well maintained. The breakfast was good. The beds were more comfortable than our VRBO in Florida. The area seemed safe and a good part of town.
