Discover the incredible beauty of the western coast of Kauai with a tour that shows you some of the best views on the island. Walk right up to the edge of Waimea Canyon – one of the most awe-inspiring sites in Hawaii – and admire the spectacular forces of nature that created the scenery around you.

Get started with a ride to see the Spouting Horn, one of the most photographed spots on Kauai. Here, ocean water sprays up like a geyser when new waves strike the coast, reaching up to 50 feet (15 m) in the air.

Waimea Canyon – also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific – was carved out of the landscape by the collapse of the giant volcano that created Kauai, followed by steady erosion from the Waimea River. Thousands of years of nature have turned the canyon walls into a multi-hued canvas of shadow and light, and the rich colors of its red soil and greenery are a spectacular sight to see.

Continue your journey to the Hanapepe Valley Lookout, a historical taro farming community where the plant is still grown today. Complete the experience with a new appreciation of the island's incredible diversity of landscape and life.

Really just a busride to the lookout point. A couple of other stops along the way witj some local history and info about plants and animals. Easily something that could be done in a rental car with a guidebook for a lot less money.
