Description

Take in Arizona's breathtaking beauty with a tour that takes you to the incredible Grand Canyon and the Navajo Indian Reservation. Stop for pictures of Red Rocks of Sedona completes an educational and visually striking journey into the state's heartland.

After convenient pickup from most hotels, travel north on I-17 by comfortable van through the Sonora Desert, with sights of Saguaro cacti all around you. Continue to the Ponderosa Pine Forests en route to Flagstaff, home of Lowell Observatory, which discovered the planet Pluto. Route 66, one of the country's most famous roads, also runs through this charming town.

Take in some of the most sweeping vistas of the Grand Canyon you'll ever see, with rainbow-colored sandstone and jagged rock formations surrounding you throughout your visit to this natural world wonder. Enjoy plenty of opportunities to stop and soak in the canyon's grandeur from various viewpoints.

Next, make a stop at the famous Cameron Trading Post on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Established in 1916, the trading post has become a showcase for fine, hand-crafted Native American art, displaying the work of 7 tribes throughout the Southwest.

First with the great stuff. The van was comfortable. Enough leg room for me. The temperature on it was great. The tour guide Frank was excellent. Super knowledgeable. Took us to great spots at the Grand Canyon which was awesome. Our first stop was suppose to be Sedona to see the red rocks ofcourse but we actually went to Red rock country visitors center outside of Sedona. Not exactly sure why but that's where we were. We did see the red rocks. Wish we could have actual went into Sedona but ok.. Our next stop was lunch at the Navajo reservation. Lunch was great. But I think I was expecting to see something different. Like an actual Indian show or something along that nature but again ok. Frank explained somethings about. This was the part of the trip I was looking most forward to. We stopped just enough time to stretch our legs because it was a loooooong ride.. I guess coming from Scottsdale I can't complain. All the pick ups for me was along the way so it wasn't a zigzag to pick up p

Trip was way too long for the van. Leg space and comfort is limited. Plenty of bathroom breaks though! Overall, the trip was AMAZING!!! The two views of the Grand Canyon was breathtaking. Sedona was beautiful and we ate a great lunch.
