2-Tank Morning Scuba Dive at the Kohala Coast

by Mauna Lani Sea Adventures Duration 4h 30m Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per traveler Price is $193

Find some of the best diving in Hawaii with a scuba excursion off the shores of the Kohala Coast. A professional staff, solid equipment, and an incredible landscape waiting under the sea give you the chance to experience Hawaii Island in a truly spectacular way.

You meet by the shore to gear up and prepare for the dive, accompanied by your experienced instructors and a small group of a half-dozen divers at most. You're close enough to the dive site that it just takes a quick boat ride to put you in the great offshore expanse.

Built up by immense volcanoes from the floor of the Pacific, the grand topography that lies beneath the waves gives you a unique showcase of the island's history. Explore some gaping caves, archways, and lava tubes, along with a menagerie of corals and more than 600 species of fish, rays, octopuses, eels, green sea turtles, and laid-back reef sharks.

The dives take you to depths of 35–55 feet (11–17 m), and more experienced divers can arrange to descend even deeper. You can head back to shore for your surface interval and grab some refreshments before another dive. Wrap up the adventure with most of the day still ahead to explore the rest of Hawaii's wonders.
