Booking is always easy

Car is for travel in Portugal. Travel there is often on toll roads and there is a special way to pay those tolls. The rental car company can provide an easy way for travelers to pay that toll, as there are many places where you can not pay with cash … no toll booths. Your system did not mention this and thus gave me no way to sign up for those ‘e-toll’ tickets. That is important. Please fix. Other companies provide that information.

Car rental fell short. It sdaid there might be a price increase for us seniors over 70, but details were unavailable. Cudos for transparency, but details (amount) were lacking.

My first and only experience with Orbitz was a monster disaster. I booked a room in Commerce Texas as I was traveling back from a weekend appointment in Texas. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk manager told me that he had no record of my reservation. What followed would have been comical if it would have happened to somebody else. I talked to 5 different people with Orbitz customer service. I was repeatedly put on hold, followed by the calls being dropped. The incompetence was incredible. I was finally able to find a supervisor that I had to beg to simply cancel my reservation because they could not ever communicate to the hotel that I did in fact have a reservation. The situation took almost an hour to resolve. It seriously put a huge damper on the entire trip. orbitz is a joke

You allow hotels to play games with their rates. They advertise one thing and the real price is double or more. I fault them, but I also fault you for this kind of fraud. In the case of Circus Circus, they advertise a $20 per night rate, but then require a “resort” payment without saying online what benefits that brings. I expected something pretty good but feel we didn’t really get one thing from the resort payment. The pool is shut down, and that was the only thing coming close to justifying it. The rest of the “benefits” are either something that most hotels offer free or are of little interest or value. The coupons are worse than what you can get on the street or in a newspaper or magazine. I’m getting $0 benefit from the $65 charge. I had a similar feeling when I went to India last year. There was one advertised cost and then an additional fee on top of that.
