A\u00a0short\u00a0brand\u00a0film\u00a0and\u00a0new\u00a0manifesto\u00a0premieres\u00a0on Orbitz&#8217;s LGBTQIA+\u00a0travel microsite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/pride\">www.Orbitz.com\/pride<\/a> today with creative appearing online and on streaming video platforms this month.\u00a0According to Orbitz\u00a0Brand\u00a0Director Carey Malloy, the\u00a0campaign\u00a0reaffirms Orbitz&#8217;s long-standing commitment to inclusive travel, dating back to the early 2000s when the brand launched a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=3119155-1&amp;h=329336609&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.orbitz.com%2Fblog%2F2020%2F08%2Ftravel-with-pride-an-orbitz-lgbtqia-timeline%2F&amp;a=series+of+advertising+firsts+in+support+of+LGBTQ+travelers.%C2%A0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">series of advertising firsts in support of LGBTQ travelers.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-10 col-sm-offset-1\">\n<p>&#8220;2020 was a year of unexpected and foundational change in the travel industry,&#8221; says Malloy. &#8220;COVID-19 gave us the opportunity to pause and rethink our business strategy, and we concluded that we didn&#8217;t actually want to be travel generalists. We wanted to refocus on our foundational values and the work that the brand started 20 years ago to advocate for LGBTQIA travel, equality and inclusion, but with a new call to action for the times we&#8217;re living in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/F_gcF1Hg1oc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b><u>Rethinking Representation<\/u><\/b><br class=\"dnr\" \/>Visionary LGBTQ+ photographer and director\u00a0<b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=3119155-1&amp;h=494984135&amp;u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cassbird.com%2Fhome.php&amp;a=Cass+Bird\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cass Bird<\/a><\/u><\/b>\u00a0\u2013 known for her work with Dior,\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Calvin Klein<\/span>\u00a0and celebs including The Obamas, Jay-Z\u00a0and\u00a0Gigi Hadid \u2013 directed\u00a0&#8220;Travel As You Are,&#8221; which features a diverse cast of LGBTQIA couples, friends\u00a0and talent.<\/p>\n<p>Underpinning the creative is the musical anthem &#8220;You Don&#8217;t Own Me,&#8221; as recorded by rising indie music artist\u00a0<b><u><a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=3119155-1&amp;h=2634092272&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FSerpentwithfeet&amp;a=serpentwithfeet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">serpentwithfeet<\/a><\/u><\/b>, aka\u00a0<span class=\"xn-person\">Josiah Wise<\/span>.
