The Will Rogers World Airport is located roughly 13 miles south of downtown Oklahoma City and is easily accessible via I-44. Delta is the only airline that offers nonstop service from Oklahoma City to Atlanta, although several other carriers offer flights with one stop. The Metro Transit bus offers transportation to the airport on weekdays, and several taxi companies and private car services can get you there seven days a week. If you choose to drive yourself, you'll find plenty of parking in the long-term lots or the five-story garage. Parking rates range from $4 to $24 per day.
The Atlanta International Airport, known as Hartsfield-Jackson, is one of the country's busiest airports, but you should find it easy to navigate. Ground transportation to take you the 10 miles north to the downtown area is plentiful. Reserve a private car, shuttle or limousine in advance; ride the MARTA light rail; or grab one of the taxis available right outside the baggage claim area. Many area hotels offer free shuttle service to and from the airport, and there are several car rental companies located on site. Atlanta's weather is relatively mild, with temperatures ranging from the low 50s in the winter months to the mid-80s in the summer. While you're in the city, be sure to visit the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, Zoo Atlanta and the Centennial Olympic Park.
