The nearby Camelback Mountain provides a great urban hiking experience in the area s desert ecosystem.

When you fly from San Jose to Phoenix, you will arrive at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). PHX is located off Interstate 10 on the east side of town. The Sky Train will take you from the airport to the 44th and Washington Street Station in Phoenix. The climate is arid with sunshine and blue skies throughout most of the year. Winter days average in the high 70s. If you visit in December, the National Livestock Show is one of the country s largest rodeos.
