Much better than expected for the price point. We were very pleased!. It's located in W. Kensington about a 40 min. tube ride from Heathrow and about a 30 or less min. tube ride to most major attractions. Baron's Court is the closest station, be warned there are no lifts if you have heavy luggage to carry. It's about a 4 block walk to the hotel. The hotel itself is in a quiet residential area. It looks and smells like it was recently renovated. Construction and cleaning smells were heavy in the hallways but not noticeable at all in the room. The front desk staff was always helpful and greeted us with smiles whenever we passed. We were in a lower ground level room with a queen sized bed and a twin sized bed. Room was well organized and there was plenty of storage. Upon arrival, none of our outlets worked, but the staff quickly addressed the problem to discover a breaker had been thrown at some time. No other problems or issues for the remainder of the stay. The shower in the room was AMAZING!!! Its a large waterfall type shower with a hand held sprayer, if you are not into cascading streams of hot water. No problems with water pressure or temperature at all. The continental breakfast was very good and met our needs very well. Items included: toast with jams and jellies, croissants, sweet rolls, 4 types of cereal, sliced cheese, ham and sausage, fruit, yogurt, juices, milk, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, cappuccino, lattes, mochas. The breakfast room is large and airy.

The ladies at the front desk are very friendly and the breakfast is excellent as well. This is a very charming hotel. All the maid and dining staff contributed to a wonderful experience in a very difficult time during the coronavirus. Eventually the dining room had to close due to regulations set forth by the Prime Minister but they still offered to take out bagged breakfast. There is very good proximity to a subway station, although it was closed for part of the time I was there due to the pandemic. There are also several bus stops very nearby including some restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. Some of my travel plans were a bit unexpected as I was rerouted to London sooner than thought, but all of the staff including the manager made this a very pleasurable experience.
