Continental Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways all fly from Washington Dulles International Airport to Las Vegas. There are over 24,000 total parking spaces in the five parking lots. Washington Flyer Taxi and Super Shuttle provide door-to-door transportation to the airport. Washington Flyer Coach Service provides transportation from the Metrorail West Falls Church station for $10. There are over 20 eateries in the airport, including Wendy's, Five Guys, Fuddruckers, Subway, Chipotle and Cinnabon.
US Airways flies from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to Las Vegas. There are nearly 9,000 total parking spaces in the five parking lots. The Metrorail system has a stop connected to terminals B and C, and two Amtrak stations can be accessed via the Metrorail. You can also hail a cab or arrange for a Super Shuttle ride. Dining options include McDonald's, Panda Express, T.G.I. Friday's and Starbucks.
Southwest Airlines flies from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshal Airport. There are over 25,000 spaces in the four lots, ranging from $8 per day for long-term parking to $22 per day for hourly garage parking. Shuttles provide transportation between the airport terminal and the BWI Marshall Rail Station. Bus services include Howard Transit, the ICC Bus, MTA Bus Service and WMATA. You can also call a cab or van shuttle. Dining options include Dunkin Donuts, Subway and Starbucks.
With exciting attractions and average highs of over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the months of July and August, the city is hot in more ways than one. The months of October through May offer a comfortable time to travel, with average highs ranging from 57 to 87 degrees.
Passengers flying into Las Vegas will land at the McCarran International Airport. It sits in Paradise, which is an unincorporated area of Clark County. McCarran is a very busy airport, seeing nearly 40 million passengers in 2010, and it boasts four runways and three terminals.
To get from the airport to the South Strip, take Route #109. Route #109 is the most convenient, as it operates 24 hours a day. You can get to various other places on the Las Vegas Strip from the South Strip by taking the Strip & Downtown Express bus service that connects to Route #109. You can also get to downtown Las Vegas from the airport by taking Route #108 or #109. You can also travel around the city by taxi or rental car. The Consolidated Rental Car Facility is 3 miles from McCarran.
The biggest attraction in Las Vegas is the Las Vegas Strip, where visitors have a variety of casinos to choose from and can gamble any time of the day or night.
