Miami is full of nightlife and has a great multicultural background, while Rio de Janeiro is a cultural hub of Brazil with architecture dating back to the sixteenth century. If you need to find flights from Miami to Rio de Janeiro, use Orbitz.com for discounts.
Miami International Airport is a busy airspace located eight miles from downtown. If you want to drive there and park your car, valet parking is available at a rate of $30 per day. A cheaper option is garage parking for just $17 per day, while economy parking is a bargain at $8 per day. Spaces in the economy lots are very limited and are given on a first-come, first-served basis, so be prepared to have to pay for garage parking in case the economy lots are full.
Galeão-Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport serves Rio de Janeiro and the surrounding suburbs for air transportation. Outside the airport you can catch a shuttle to the city, which will take you to many of the major hotels and shopping spots. The buses will take you to the center of the city, as will the many taxis available. You should be sure the driver clears the meter before you take your trip, or you may end up with a final cost that is much higher than it should be. Rio de Janeiro has plenty of beaches, the most famous of which is Ipanema, which also happens to be near some of the best restaurants and shops in the area. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby Sugarloaf Mountains, especially during July and August, when the daily high is a mild 78°F.
If you want to sunbathe on the famous beaches of Rio, look no further than Orbitz.com to book flights from Miami to Rio de Janeiro. To save money, try booking a hotel or rental car in addition to your flights for a quicker experience that saves you time.
