Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) is a public airport located in Palisadoes, Jamaica. This international airport provides travel services for those traveling to Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica.
It is the airline hub for Caribbean Airlines, Fly Jamaica Airways, and Skylan Airways. The airport completes more than 130 international flights each week, and safe traveling for more than 1,420,000 passengers each year.
When you fly to KIN, you will get the opportunity to visit some of Jamaica s best attractions. Kingston was founded in 1692 and as such, it has a rich and diverse history that can be seen around the island.
Take the time to check out the Bob Marley Museum, which is dedicated to the late musician and is also home to his recording studio, where he recorded many of his hits.
Elsewhere, the National Heroes Park, is a botanical garden and the largest open space in the city, measuring an impressive 20 hectacres in size. Founded in 1783 as a race track, the park now houses war memorials and is also the burial site of Jamaica s former prime ministers and national heroes.
The Blue Mountain is Jamaica s highest peak, with an altitude of 7,402 feet and climbing to the top takes around 7 hours in total and it s a popular hike with tourists o the island.
