Cubbyhole Bar<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

Cubbyhole<\/a>\u00a0is one of only three lesbian bars in all of New York City, but it happens to be our favorite because it\u2019s the place where we met! Cubbyhole, located in NYC\u2019s West Village, is small but cozy, and the perfect place to grab a drink and stay a while. The bar is cash only so make sure you have cash on you if you plan on visiting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though NYC is known as being the birthplace of the Gay Rights Movement, the LGBTQ+ history of NYC can be traced even further back than just 1969. The <\/span>LGBTQ+ History Tour<\/span><\/a> takes you to iconic Queer spots in New York City, like the city\u2019s oldest known gay bar and a gay-owned ice cream shop! Since we have been on this tour, we can tell you first-hand that it\u2019s so much fun and you learn a lot too!<\/span><\/p>\n

Bluestockings<\/span><\/b><\/h1>\n

Bluestockings<\/a>\u00a0is an inclusive bookstore, cafe and activist center. They carry over 6,000 books on topics like feminism, queer histo<\/span>r<\/span>y, gender studies and more. Another cool thing about Bluestockings is that they are 100% run by volunteers! They are in the process of moving locations right <\/span>now, but<\/span> will be in their new location on 116 Suffolk Street shortly!<\/span><\/p>\n

MeMe\u2019s Diner,<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Brooklyn<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

Meme\u2019s Diner<\/a> is a queer-owned restaurant that makes amazing comfort food with a twist. The space is very welcoming and inclusive, and the items on the menu cater to gluten free and vegan diets as well! They are open for dinner on the weekdays and offer brunch on the weekends!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Conrad New York Downtown<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

If you\u2019re visiting NYC and need an LGBTQ+ friendly hotel, <\/span>Conrad New York Downtown<\/span><\/a> is <\/span>it.<\/span> This hotel is trendy and chic and the views from the rooftop bar are incredible! The Conrad\u2019s Loopy <\/span>Doopy<\/span> Rooftop Bar is also famous for <\/span>its<\/span> inventive Prosecco and ice pops cocktail, which you absolutely have to try if you stay here!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Stonewall Inn\/Christopher Park<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

We had to close out our list with the most historic LGBTQ+ landmark of them all, the Stonewall Inn. Stonewall was the birthplace of the Gay Rights Movement in 1969 and is still a safe haven today for the LGBTQ+ community. It\u2019s a great bar for any vibe, you can have a chill night downstairs or a dance party upstairs! Across the street from Stonewall,\u00a0<\/span>you\u2019ll find Christopher Park which is a National Monument and features the Gay Liberation Monument. It\u2019s the perfect place to sit down, relax, and be surrounded by an inclusive community.<\/span><\/p>\n
