No where else in the world will you find as comprehensive a collection of mechanical games as at the <strong>Mus\u00e9e M\u00e9canique<\/strong>. This coin-operated arcade with free entry offers more than 300 games dating back to the early 1900s; walking through it is akin to taking a time machine back to another era. Meanwhile, just beyond the Mus\u00e9e at Pier 45, another must-see is the <strong>SS Jeremiah O\u2019Brien World War II Liberty<\/strong>, a living museum that provides a fascinating look into the lives of World War II sailors. You can also pay respects to the lives lost in battle by taking the self-guided audio tour of the <strong>USS Pampanito World War II submarine<\/strong>, another World War II vessel that serves both as a museum and a silent memorial. The <strong>San Francisco Sailing Company\u2019s sunset cruise<\/strong>, which comes with choice of refreshment and takes you underneath the Golden Gate Bridge (weather permitting) and around Alcatraz, is a particularly noteworthy experience. Located at the corner of Jefferson and Hyde just across from one of the city\u2019s main cable car stops, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/San-Francisco-Hotels-Argonaut-Hotel-A-Noble-House-Hotel.h915510.Hotel-Information\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Argonaut Hotel\u2019<\/a>s location and amenities make it an ideal pied-a-terre for a quick getaway in The Golden City. Everything\u2014restaurants, shops, grocery stores, bars, sights and attractions\u2014are within walking distance from the hotel, so no need for a car. To venture further afield, the hotel offers a limited number of complimentary bike rentals in conjunction with Blazing Saddles bike shop for biking the bridge or visiting the Mission Building. The hotel\u2019s newly renovated <strong>Blue Mermaid Restaurant<\/strong> also boasts a cool patio, as well as one of the best chowder bowls and fish and chips in the city.
