No social or important event is complete without a platter of l<em>ambi (<\/em>grilled conch<em>) <\/em>or delicately seasoned <em>griyo (<\/em>fried pork<em>) <\/em>with a side of <em>pikliz (<\/em>pickled veggies<em>) <\/em>or regional specialties like <em>kalalou djon djon <\/em>(okra and black mushroom stew)<em>. <\/em>You can sample Haitian delicacies everywhere, from street vendors, beach shacks or fine dining spots.
