Free Style MusicPark<\/strong><\/a> is Myrtle Beach\u2019s newest family attraction.\u00a0 Formerly the Hard Rock Theme Park, the Free Style Music Park has reopened this year to include a larger family section while keeping the rock and roll theme.\u00a0 Other genres of music are also featured, and there are rides for all ages. As director of sales and marketing for Free Style Music Park, I wanted to offer my inside view of the park with answers to common questions from people thinking about a visit as part of a family vacation<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

How can I fill up a day of activities for a kid under 5?<\/strong>
\nFreestyle Music Park has a ton of activities for children under the age of 5!\u00a0 In Country USA we have rides like Big \u2018Ol Trucks and a remote racecar track<\/strong> to race against your opponents, and the Ice Cold Country show is for all ages!!\u00a0 Kid\u2019s in America has 7 rides for children of all ages<\/strong>, a midway and the Flip 5 Live show that they can be a part of<\/strong>!\u00a0 Across the Pond and Myrtle\u2019s Beach also have plenty to do for the little ones, with rides, living statues, and an awesome BMX, skateboarding and inline skate competition show<\/strong> with a big surprise finish called Adrenalin Rush.\u00a0 They will love our interactive water play area,<\/strong> Polly Nesian\u2019s Splash Bash!\u00a0 And don\u2019t forget all the many great restaurants and shops throughout the park!<\/p>\n

How long do I need to see everything in the park?<\/strong>
\nApproximately 7 hours or so to ride all the rides, take in lunch or dinner, catch all of our live shows and take time to explore our many gardens, with living statues and tributes to some music legends passed!\u00a0 Make sure you stay for the Kiss the Sky Nighttime Rock N Roll Spectacular with fireworks, lasers, fountains, and many other special effects<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

What kind of food and prices will I find inside the park? Where will I find the best healthy options for my little ones?<\/strong>
\nEach area of the park has restaurants that cater to that theme!\u00a0 From ribs and pulled pork<\/strong> At the Big Q Smoke house in Country USA to fish n chips<\/strong> at Penny lane\u2019s in Across the Pond.\u00a0 Restaurants also have many salads<\/strong> and some have fruit<\/strong> also for a healthier and liter fare.\u00a0 Our menu prices are less than the average theme park prices!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the cheapest time to visit? What\u2019s the least crowded?<\/strong>
\nOur twilight ticket<\/strong> is available from 5 to 10 p.m. and is $24.95<\/strong> for adults and $19.95 for children ages 3-9<\/strong>!\u00a0 Opening to early afternoon during the week days are probably the best time for smaller crowds.<\/p>\n

Do you have any tips for maximizing your time (and money) at the park?<\/strong>
\nTake advantage of ticket specials at the gate and be sure to check at your hotel or vacation rental for ticket specials and deals they may have to offer you! Our twilight ticket is also an excellent value!! Using one of our suggested itineraries on our park map will help you maximize your time to get the most from our park. Visitors can receive a second day admission for only $10 by presenting their paid full-day admission at the guest services window<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If your family could only visit 3 attractions, what would they be and why? <\/strong>
\nIce Cold Country<\/strong> is a fantastic all-ages family fun show with spectacular effects, music and talented skaters! Kids In America<\/strong> is a must do and see for families with little ones! This area will keep them entertained and having a blast from all the different rides and play areas. And don\u2019t forget to catch Flip 5 Live<\/strong> — this is one that the entire family can take part in as well as Mom, Dad, Grandma or grandpa!\u00a0 Don\u2019t miss The Time Machine<\/strong>!!\u00a0 This coaster is a trip through many time periods and genres of music!!<\/p>\n
