About 10 percent of the carrier&#8217;s service now operates to the 50th state and Alaska&#8217;s newest flight additions are in <strong>Hawaii<\/strong>. Effective September 20, Alaska will fly daily nonstops between <strong>Portland, Oregon<\/strong>, and<strong> Honolulu<\/strong>. Daily flights between <strong>San Diego<\/strong> and <strong>Kahului, Maui,<\/strong> begin on October 1. There&#8217;ll even be seasonal service between Portland and <strong>Kona<\/strong> on the Big Island beginning November 12.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"JetBlue Airways\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/App\/PerformMDLPDealsContent?deal_id=jetblue-airways-flight-deals&amp;cnt=OVI\" target=\"_self\">JetBlue Airways<\/a> continues to flood the zone in the <strong>New York<\/strong> Metro area. On November 17, it will add <strong>Hartford, Connecticut<\/strong>, to its route map. There&#8217;ll be daily flights to<strong> Fort Lauderdale<\/strong> and<strong> Orlando<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of Orlando, <a title=\"Hertz rental car\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/car-info\/hertz-car-rental.html\" target=\"_self\">Hertz<\/a> has added in-terminal rental facilities in Terminal A and B.<\/li>\n<li>How is New York\/Kennedy Airport doing now that its busiest runway is closed for renovation? According to FlightStats, JFK operated at about 60 percent on-time in March, the first month of the closure.<\/li>\n<li>In<strong> Georgia<\/strong>, a 162-unit <a title=\"Embassey Suites\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/App\/PerformMDLPDealsContent?deal_id=hilton-hotels&amp;cnt=OVI\" target=\"_self\">Embassy Suites<\/a> has opened near Savannah\/Hilton Head International Airport.
