At the time, it was Marriott&#8217;s 1,500th hotel &#8212; a milestone that&#8217;s meaningless to business travelers but fraught with importance for lodging bigwigs. But that was then and this is now, and the Parc 55, once again an independent property, has found itself a new brand affiliation. It becomes a <a title=\"Wyndham vacation packages\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/App\/PerformMDLPDealsContent?deal_id=vivawyndham&amp;cnt=PKH\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Wyndham<\/strong><\/a> later this month.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Speaking of those round-number milestones, the 500th<strong> Hilton Garden Inn<\/strong> has opened in Concord, North Carolina. The 118-room property is adjacent to the Concord Mills Outlet Mall and about a mile from the<strong> Charlotte Motor Speedway<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The 150th <a title=\"Hyatt vacation packages\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/App\/PerformMDLPDealsContent?deal_id=hyatt-resorts&amp;cnt=PKH\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Hyatt Place<\/strong><\/a> has opened in North Charleston, South Carolina. The 127-room property is near Charleston&#8217;s convention center.<\/li>\n<li>Just 45 days after a JW Marriott opened in the<strong> L.A. Live<\/strong> complex near the <strong>Staples Center<\/strong> in downtown <strong>Los Angeles<\/strong>, a 123-room <strong><a title=\"Ritz-Carlton Hotels and Resorts\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/App\/PerformMDLPDealsContent?deal_id=ritz-carlton-hotels-resorts&amp;cnt=OVI\" target=\"_self\">Ritz-Carlton<\/a> <\/strong>opened, too. Not only are both properties part of Marriott, both hotels are in the same building, a 54-story tower.<\/li>\n<li>A 414-room <strong>Loews Hotel<\/strong> has opened in Atlanta. It&#8217;s part of the 12th and Midtown mixed-use development and the first newly built Loews property in five years.<\/li>\n<li>Two historic structures in Nashville &#8212; the <strong>American Trust<\/strong> and<strong> Nashville Trust <\/strong>buildings &#8212; have been renovated into a 97-room <a title=\"Hotel Indigo Nashville\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/hotel\/United_States--TN\/Nashville\/Hotel_Indigo_NASHVILLE_MUSIC_ROW-VANDERBILT\/\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Hotel Indigo<\/strong><\/a>, which is part of <a title=\"Intercontinental vacation packages\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/App\/PerformMDLPDealsContent?deal_id=intercontinental-hotels&amp;cnt=PKH\" target=\"_self\"><strong>InterContinental Hotels<\/strong><\/a>. The hotel previously opened in December as an independent property while the developers got it into shape.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Starwood vacation packages\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orbitz.com\/App\/PerformMDLPDealsContent?deal_id=sheraton-westin-starwood&amp;cnt=PKH\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Starwood<\/strong><\/a> has opened a 250-room Sheraton resort on the shore of <strong>Qiandao Lake<\/strong>, about 100 miles from <strong>Hangzhou<\/strong>.
