Here are the best shops from the industry’s most in-demand designers\u2014many of whom are participating in New York Fashion Week 2016:<\/div>\n

Opening Ceremony<\/h3>\n

With locations in the trendy Soho and Nomad neighborhoods, this label is all about providing an endless supply of stylish duds for the city’s cool kids. Co-owners Carol Lim and Humboldt Leon travel the globe looking for the coolest men’s and women’s brands to feature alongside their in-house line. Opening Ceremony often collaborates with other trendy companies (think everything from Keds to Coach), so look for many exclusive items you won’t be able to find anywhere else.<\/p>\n

Marc Jacobs<\/h3>\n

Fans of the designer (whose show famously closes NYFW each year) should head to the West Village to get their Jacobs fix. That’s where you’ll find a variety of Marc Jacobs shops, all within reach of each other. There’s the main shop featuring his ready-to-wear collections, as well as a Marc Jacobs beauty store and even Bookmarc, which is full of stylish coffee table books, hard-to-find magazines and more.<\/p>\n

Cynthia Rowley<\/h3>\n

Tucked away in the West Village, this designer’s shop perfectly showcases her whimsical womenswear items. Rowley is known for her colorful frocks, but has alsorecently expanded into the world of sportswear so don’t be surprised when you see a mannequin wearing a wetsuit chilling next to another one dressed for a night out on the town.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Vera Wang<\/h3>\n

You’ll find high ceilings and a chic, all-white aesthetic at this designer’s sophisticated Soho shop. The space is filled with women’s items from Wang’s namesake line, as well as selections from her lower-priced Lavender collection. You can see the clothes in action, as her latest runway show is usually projected onto a large wall in the shop. Looking for a wedding dress? Head uptown to Wang’s popular bridal shop.<\/p>\n

Located just steps away from the High Line (the elevated park von Furstenberg was instrumental in bringing to life), this Meatpacking District boutique was built on a curve to echo the style of the designer’s famous wrap dress. Yes, you’ll find her iconic dresses here, but the shop also boasts seasonal items like coats, as well as footwear, jewelry and more.<\/p>\n

Christian Siriano<\/h3>\n

This classic designer has a few shops around New York City, but the one you must visit is his Upper East Side women’s and home flagship store.
