Diva Half-Marathon and 5K Series<\/strong><\/h3>\n

These races<\/a> are held throughout the country at popular vacation destinations including Myrtle Beach<\/a>, San Juan<\/a>, San Francisco<\/a>, Galveston<\/a>, and St. Augustine<\/a> Beach. Choose a 5K or half-marathon, and receive personal training plans, as well as pink tutus and personalized bibs (maybe you want to run under a moniker like Queen Diva?) upon registration. Perks along the course include aboa and tiara station, and finishers receive swag that includes a crown-shaped medal and champagne.<\/p>\n

Venus de Miles <\/strong><\/h3>\n

This summer road ride<\/a> (not a race, so noncompetitive types can relax) geared toward women has events in Colorado<\/a> and Illinois<\/a> for bikers of all skill levels. Courses range from 25 to 100 miles (there\u2019s also a 5K run\/walk in Illinois) along scenic courses with plenty of rest stops along the way offering nutritious snacks. Post-ride festivities include spa services, bike road tests and lunch and drinks from local purveyors. The rides benefit Greenhouse Scholars, a nonprofitgroup that provides college scholarships and other resources to high-achieving students with limited means.<\/p>\n

Like to get dirty? These five- to seven-mile muddy obstacle courses<\/a>\u2014designed by women, for women\u2014are for you. Events take place in New England<\/a>, Whistler<\/a>, Toronto<\/a> and Melbourne<\/a>, and feature obstaclessuch as \u201cRise of the Shero\u201d (use a rope to scale a 10-foot wall) and \u201cAin\u2019t No Mountain High\u201d (traverse muddy mounds and valleys with the help of your friends).\u00a0 On-site rinsing stations are useful before the post-course parties, where there\u2019s food, music and beauty treatments to help you feel like yourself again.<\/p>\n

Wildflower Trailfest and Wildflower Pedalfest <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Wildflower Outdoor<\/a>, a community of outdoor-adventure loving women, hosts these two annual events outside Salt Lake City<\/a>. Trailfest, in Snowbasin, UT, takes place over two days and includes a mountain-bike race and trail run. Pedalfest, in Morgan, UT, is all about biking, with course options that range from 20 to 70 miles. Participants at both events get access to training clinics, plus massages, live music and finishers\u2019 gifts afterwards.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re interested in a run, duathlon or triathlon, this race series<\/a> in more than 10 locations across the United States has something for you. Choose urban settings such as San Diego<\/a> and Atlanta<\/a> or challenging terrain in places like Red Rock, CO, and take advantage of training perks such as a weekly fitness planner, nutrition tips and playlists.
