If you go \u201cup the road\u201d or \u201cdown the road\u201d or maybe even \u201cthrough the road\u201d in Ireland, you are bound to experience lush fields of green, a warm welcome, and a refreshing pint. The following are some of the best spots to find your own bit of Irish luck, though trust us when we say it was hard to narrow it down to Ireland’s top 10!<\/p>\n

1. Giant\u2019s Causeway, County Antrim:<\/strong> You won\u2019t find any giants here (unless you do, in which case, run for your life) but you will most likely never appreciate rocks as much as these ones. Giant’s Causeway<\/a> Tip:\u00a0See how many\u00a0\u00a0\u201crockin\u2019 out\u201d puns you can make.<\/p>\n

2. Kylemore Abbey, County Galway:<\/strong> Boy meets girl. Boy builds castle for girl. Boy and girl have a number of children. Girl dies a tragic death. A love story that would put Romeo & Juliet to shame brought us a timeless castle (that could possibly be mistaken for a Lego castle) and gardens. Kylemore Abbey<\/a> most recently served as an all-girls boarding school.<\/p>\n

3. Guinness Storehouse, Dublin:<\/strong> If your taste buds are looking for a dark, creamy, bitter-yet-chocolatey stout, then you can\u2019t pass up pouring a pint at the brewer’s legendary storehouse in Dublin<\/a>. Tip: Skip dinner and have a 3-course “Guinness” meal.<\/p>\n

4. Cliffs of Moher, Clare:<\/strong> The nice thing about the Cliffs of Moher<\/a> is that whether it is pouring rain or the sun’s fully shining, you will still find yourself in awe! (Did we mention it rains a lot in Ireland?)<\/p>\n

5. Westport, Mayo:<\/strong> Perhaps a little biased to the west coast of Ireland, but Westport<\/a> is a charming town that will give you a great taste of Irish culture. You MUST go to Matt Molloy\u2019s Pub<\/a> and experience one of the many live traditional music sessions.<\/p>\n

6. Downpatrick Head, Mayo:<\/strong> Imagine all of the beauty of the Cliffs of Moher except with more \u201capproach at your own risk\u201d cliffs that plunge deep down into the ocean\u2014and a lot less tourists. That’s what you’ll get with these dramatic cliffs in Mayo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

7. Blarney Castle, Cork:<\/strong> The legend says that if you kiss the Blarney stone at this 15th century castle in Cork<\/a>, you are given the gift of the gab. Depending on whom you talk to this could be a blessing or a curse.<\/p>\n

8. Ashford Castle, Mayo:<\/strong> A castle fit for Pierce Brosnan (who celebrated his wedding to Keeley Shaye here in 2001) is a castle fit for you.<\/p>\n

9. Croagh Patrick, Mayo:<\/strong> You can thank Saint Patrick for climbing the 2,507 feet up this mountain and chasing all of the snakes out of Ireland, or so the legend goes.<\/p>\n

10. Dingle Peninsula, Kerry:<\/strong> The name is as cute as the town. Just outside of Dingle<\/a>, you’ll take in incredible views of the rugged Atlantic coastline and its ancient forts.<\/p>\n
