As we mark this momentous occasion,\u00a0we&#8217;re taking a look back\u00a0through six decades of magic brought to life. Here are five\u00a0milestone attractions in the resort&#8217;s\u00a0history.<\/em><\/p>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"505.72479278431376\"><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"505.72479278431376\"><em>Disneyland&#8217;s world famous Jungle Cruise embarked\u00a0<\/em><em>on its maiden voyage in 1955 and was the\u00a0<\/em><em>most anticipated opening day attraction. This simulated river<\/em><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"358.7721292745098\"><em>boat cruise tour led by Disney cast\u00a0<\/em><em>members has remained open and largely unchanged in theme an<\/em><em>d story since.<\/em><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"142.93019229411763\"><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"591.4463546078432\"><em>Just four years later, in 1959, Disney introduced the first s<\/em><em>teel tubular rollercoaster in the world\u00a0<\/em><em>with its Matterhorn Bobsleds. This thrilling, high speed r<\/em><em>un down the icy slopes of Switzerland&#8217;s\u00a0<\/em><em>most famous peak remains a one of a kind attraction even\u00a0<\/em><em>today. No other Disney Park has a\u00a0<\/em><em>Matterhorn Mountain.<\/em><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"232.82378345098036\"><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"615.4611121176472\"><em>In 1995, one of the most elaborate and sophisticated Disney\u00a0<\/em><em>theme park attractions was brought\u00a0<\/em><em>to life. Indiana Jones Adventure was a collaboration betwe<\/em><em>en George Lucas and Disney\u00a0<\/em><em>Imagineering working on designing construction. Boasting special\u00a0<\/em><em>effects, music from the film,\u00a0<\/em><em>and a compelling story, guests are transported to 1935, on a hai<\/em><em>r-raising quest through the\u00a0<\/em><em>Temple of the Forbidden Eye.<\/em><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"319.4903881764705\"><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"632.4850321960784\"><em>Next over at Disney California Adventure Park, we go Soarin&#8217;\u00a0<\/em><em>Over California, a high-tech ride\u00a0<\/em><em>that debuted in 2001. This amazing simulation of a hang gliding tr<\/em><em>ip to\u00a0<\/em><em>ok\u00a0<\/em><em>the virtual reality\u00a0<\/em><em>experience to the next level with the wind in your face<\/em><em>, feet dangling over the treetops, and even\u00a0<\/em><em>the sweet smell of California oranges. Fifteen years late<\/em><em>r, it&#8217;s still one of the resort&#8217;s top\u00a0<\/em><em>attractions.<\/em><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"125.21230392156862\"><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"625.1981651372549\"><em>And most recently Radiator Springs Racers.
