\n<\/strong>Want a bypass in Bangkok or a tummy tuck in Turkey? According to CNN<\/a>, medical tourism is a growing phenomenon in which travelers are having medical procedures\u2014both cosmetic and otherwise\u2014done while visiting exotic destinations for the benefit of lower costs, efficient services, quality care and a great vacation. We’re all for a nose job in Nassau, as long as we can still smell that salt air.<\/p>\n

Nary Jane
\n<\/strong>You won’t find any key chains sporting hemp leaves at the Denver Airport<\/a>. According to USA Today<\/em><\/a>, while the Rocky Mountain State is the first to legalize the sale of recreational marijuana, its airport has outlawed the sale of pot-themed souvenirs for fear it will taint the state’s reputation. That’s too bad because we have a pretty great T-shirt slogan idea: “I belong to the Mile High<\/em> Club.”<\/p>\n

Titanic love affair
\n<\/strong>What if you could take a cruise forever? That’s what Florida retiree Lee Wachtstetter has done. According to BuzzFeed<\/em><\/a>, the 86-year-0ld woman has been living aboard the luxury liner Crystal Serenity<\/a> since 2008 as part of her late husband’s wish that she never stop cruising. The crew calls her as “Mama Lee,” but with all those choppy ocean waves we’re surprised her nickname isn’t Grammamine.<\/p>\n

Ride and prejudice
\n<\/strong>Social media users are praising South American airline Aerolineas Argentinas<\/a> for its snappy comeback to a disgruntled passenger. According to the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>, after a rider complained about the “low quality of flight attendants” who are “short and fat,” the airline tweeted back<\/a>, “Prejudice doesn’t fly, we leave it on the ground.” No extra bag of peanuts for you, sir!<\/p>\n

Four-wheel suspension
\n<\/strong>At least one New Yorker defied the statewide travel ban imposed earlier this week due to the winter storm that never was. According to NBC News in New York<\/a>, A Staten Island<\/a> man was allegedly caught doing doughnuts in the parking lot of a local Lowe’s and was ultimately busted for driving with a suspended driver’s license. For punishment we propose he shovel Lowe’s parking for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n
