Give those bosoms a Luft
\n<\/strong>Passengers traveling on Lufthansa might soon have a reason press the call button with greater frequency. According to Yahoo!<\/a>, the German<\/a> airline will be outfitting its female flight attendants in drindls<\/em> (a traditional Bavarian dress that accentuates the bosom) on select flights to honor Oktoberfest. Let’s hope US carriers opt out of this trend; we could do without flight attendants in pilgrim gear.<\/p>\n

iTravel
\n<\/strong>As Mac fans geek out over the new iPhone 6 this week, the Huffington Post<\/a> examined why the phone will be better for travelers. The 12-hour battery, it noted, will reduce the need always be recharging at the airport, new VoLTE technology allows you to make voice calls over WiFi (no data plan needed) and the 8MP iSight camera means better photos. At last, we can finally ditch our Kodak 110 cameras!<\/p>\n

Grin and polar bear it
\n<\/strong>Looking to wear a heavy coat instead of a tank top on your next vacation? Due in part to global warming, Crystal Cruises<\/a> will begin setting sail in summer 2016 around the Northwest Passage, a 32-day excursion that will take passengers from Anchorage to New York via Northern Canada and Greenland, NBC News reports<\/a>. Looks like those climate change deniers are uh, on thin ice.<\/p>\n

Grease is the word
\n<\/strong>In a hat tip to the romance of the road, Buzzfeed Travel<\/a> has rounded up a list of 14 American diners you can’t miss on your next road trip. Greasy spoons included on the list are joints like It’s Tops in San Francisco<\/a> and neon-infused classics like the Majestic Diner in Atlanta<\/a>. Tom’s Restaurant (whose exterior was frequently featured on Seinfeld) also made the list. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.<\/p>\n

Viva Las Vegas
\n<\/strong>Sin City’s reputation as a hotbed for, well, sin just isn’t true, according to USA Today<\/a>. The paper this week unveiled its list of five Las Vegas<\/a> myths including that it’s all about gambling (gaming revenue is down 13% since 1999), that the city is a nonstop party (it actually boasts a symphony, Broadway shows and natural wonders like Red Rock Canyon) and that it’s a magnet for has-been stars.
