The Oahu Visitors Bureau heads up an island-wide campaign against breast cancer, which will take place through the month of October. First off, props to the following Oahu hotels<\/a><\/strong> for their outright contributions:<\/p>\n

Hilton Hawaiian Village<\/a><\/strong> — $5,000
Royal Hawaiian<\/a><\/strong> — $1,000<\/p>\n

Hotels that have committed to donate undisclosed amounts include Aqua Hotels, the Halekulani<\/a><\/strong> and Waikiki Parc Hotel<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The main part of the campaign is coming right up (October 16-23) to coincide with the annual Race for the Cure<\/strong><\/a>. If you are on island through this time, book the activities at the companies listed below (through the Oahu CVB or a participating travel<\/a><\/strong> specialist) and they will donate the following amount to the HawaiI Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Contribution: $5 per person
