Fresh face: the recently renovated Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa<\/p><\/div>\n

Anyone planning a Hawaii vacation<\/a> or business trip to the Aloha state is likely to notice an array of improvements when they check in for the night. Many Hawaii hotels have been investing in new d\u00e9cor, amenities and services; here are some of the most recent upgrades.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Big Island of Hawaii hotels<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Visitors to the Big Island may see changes at the Hilton Waikoloa Village<\/a>, which has completed a renovation to its two-story Naupaka and Nai\u2019a suites, the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel<\/a>, which has redecorated 96 of its guestrooms, and the Fairmont Orchid<\/a>, which is in the midst of a makeover.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Kauai hotels<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Among the Kauai hotels sporting a fresh look are the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa<\/a>, which recently completed a $45 million guestroom renovation, and the Kauai Marriott Resort<\/a> on Kalapaki Beach, which spent $50 million to spruce up its 356 rooms as well as the main lobby and Kukui\u2019s restaurant.\u00a0The Sheraton Kauai Resort<\/a> is in the midst of a $15-million renovation of its ocean wing pool, courtyard and lobby, with the first phase completed in September.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Maui hotels<\/a>
\n<\/strong>On Maui, the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa<\/a> has renovated its guest rooms and opened a new Regency Club lounge. Rooms have also been refreshed at the Fairmont Kea Lani<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Oahu hotels<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Among the biggest news on the Hawaii hotel scene came is the opening of Aulani<\/a>, a Disney Resort & Spa, which debuted in August at the Ko Olina Resort. The property includes 359 hotel rooms and 460 Disney Vacation Club Villas plus two restaurants, a spa and conference center.<\/p>\n

Also at the Ko Olina Resort is the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa<\/a>, which has completed a renovation of its guest rooms and spa and created a new private suite, Ho\u2019onanea, for meetings and private events.<\/p>\n

In Honolulu, major upgrades have taken place at hotels including the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa<\/a> and the Sheraton Waikiki<\/a>, which has opened the Leahi Club Lounge, Hawaii\u2019s first Sheraton Club Lounge.
