I don\u2019t need to tell you that there\u2019s no shortage of places
\nto get a drink in Las Vegas hotels<\/a> — in fact, most every casino resort has
\nseveral options to choose from, any time of the day or night. But just as a
\nwine cooler is not the same as a handcrafted mojito, some bars and lounges are
\na bit more worthy than others. Whether you\u2019re looking for a business meeting<\/span>
\nplace, a low-key romantic room (note to Valentine\u2019s Day<\/span> procrastinators) or
\njust a stylish spot with no cover, no line and no attitude<\/span>\u2026 these are the best
\nproperty picks. IMHO, anyway.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

10) Rush Lounge<\/span>, Golden Nugget<\/a>: An almost Hollywood-worthy<\/span>
\nstylish lounge in perhaps the least expected place. Frankie Moreno\u2019s house band
\nis also reportedly among the best in town.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

9) Tempo<\/span>, Zen<\/span>, Las Vegas Hilton<\/a>: Inside the casino-side Tempo lounge
\nis an ultra-Mod<\/span> escape you would never expect at the Hilton. Also have to give
\na shout out to the vintage Benihana Village<\/span> Zen lounge, which really is quite
\nrelaxing.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

8) Cleopatra\u2019s Barge<\/span>, Bradley Ogden<\/span> lounge, Caesars Palace<\/a>:
\nDespite several more modern options here, my heart belongs to Cleo\u2019s vintage
\nkitsch<\/span>, complete with artificial smoke and cheesy lighting. The casino-side
\nlounge of Bradley Ogden\u2019s A-list<\/span> eatery is also a sweet spot.
\n<\/o:p><\/p>\n

7) Fontana<\/span>, Sportsbook<\/span>, Bellagio<\/a>: The Fontana lounge not
\nonly offers world-class entertainment, but also one of the best views of the
\nfountains<\/span> from its balcony. The Sportsbook bar is elegant enough to be suitable
\nfor any occasion. <\/o:p><\/p>\n

6) Liquidity<\/span>, Tender Steak<\/span> lounge, Luxor<\/a>: Liquidity is a
\ncool<\/span> mid-mod designed bar with rainfalls everywhere you turn, and DJs at peak
\nhours (try the \u201cjaded mojito\u201d). Right off the casino, Tender\u2019s clubby, comfy<\/span>
\nbar serves classic cocktails like Moscow Mules and Old Fashioneds. Done.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

5) The lounges at Delmonico<\/span> and Cut<\/span>, Venetian<\/a> \/ Palazzo<\/a>: Two
\nrestaurants win out here — Delmonico\u2019s lounge has its own pianist<\/span> during happy
\nhour, and you can order Emeril\u2019s great apps<\/span>. Cut, by Wolfgang Puck <\/span>is the definition of mod luxe,
\nand also has a fantastic bar menu<\/span> and handcrafted cocktails.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

4) Parasol Up\/Down<\/span>, Wynn Las Vegas<\/a>: Truly one of the property\u2019s gems,
\nthis split casino bar overlooks the Lake of Dreams<\/span> in two linked but distinct
\nidentities, so evocative of a mid-century international fantasy, you expect
\nAudrey Hepburn<\/span> to glide in at any second (try the Viking martini or cucumber
\n& lavender mojito). New sister hotel Encore<\/a>\u2019s Eastside Lounge<\/span> is a sweet escape, too.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

\"Las-Vegas-hotels\"<\/a>
\n3) The lounges at Koi<\/span>, StripHouse<\/span>, Planet Hollywood<\/a>: While
\nthe Heart bar<\/span> on the casino floor has some intrigue and energy, I leantoward
\nthe great lounges in restaurants Koi (a room which evokes the inside of an
\noyster<\/span>–great saketinis) and StripHouse (a noir-style bar decorated with
\nvintage erotica<\/span>). Both unique.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

2) West Wing Bar<\/span>, MGM Grand<\/a>: The definition of hidden gem<\/span>, MGM\u2019s
\nWest Wing Bar (beyond Centrifuge) is New York sleek and sexy (leather loungers
\nfor two!) with a menu of caipirinha varieties. More accessible, Rouge<\/span> sets a
\nhigh mark for an open-walled lounge. (try the Stoli Lychee)<\/o:p><\/p>\n

1) eyecandy<\/span>, Mandalay Bay<\/a>: Virtually everything a lounge could
\nor should be–a cool dance floor<\/span> with go-go platforms and side banquettes,
\ncomfortable bars with original cocktails<\/span> by master mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim
\n(try the Pineapple-Ginger Mojito, or \u201cPure Joy\u201d) and a variety of private lounge
\nareas<\/span> too. Fantastic.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Honorable Mentions: Napoleon's<\/span> and Eiffel Tower Restaurant<\/span>
\nbar at Paris<\/a>; Stir<\/span> at Platinum<\/a>, Rojo<\/span> at Palms Place<\/a>, and the Gaudi<\/span> lounge at
\nSunset Station<\/span> (still the most improbably gorgeous casino center bar anywhere).<\/p>\n
