<\/a>\"N9ne\"<\/a> Hollywood may always be the capital of celebrity, but the fact is, if you really want to run into a star, you have better odds in a Las Vegas hotel<\/a>. Because, when the famous want to get out and party hearty, they do it here.<\/p>\n

That may be no surprise to those who have heard about celebs regularly hosting events at the top Vegas nightclubs — including TAO<\/strong> (Venetian<\/a>), LAX<\/strong> (Luxor<\/a>), JET<\/strong> (Mirage<\/a>), Body English<\/strong> (Hard Rock Hotel<\/a>), the Bank<\/strong> (Bellagio<\/a>), and Pure<\/strong> (including the Pussycat Dolls lounge, at Caesars Palace<\/a>). <\/p>\n

But those in the fame game are just as likely to get down at the Hard Rock\u2019s Wasted Space<\/strong> (ZZ Top\u2019s Billy Gibbons, Jason Giambi, Katy Perry); Moon<\/strong> at Palms<\/a> (George Clooney, Rianna, Olympian party boyMichael Phelps); both Blush<\/strong> and Tryst<\/strong> at Wynn<\/a>; the new XS<\/strong> at Encore<\/a>; VIP-only Noir bar<\/strong> (Luxor — ask your concierge), Prive<\/strong> (Planet Hollywood<\/a>), Cherry<\/strong> (Red Rock Resort<\/a>); and Lavo<\/strong> at Palazzo<\/a> (Joaquin Phoenix, Hilary Duff<\/strong> — heck, I\u2019ve partied there myself with Kelly Carlson <\/strong>and Emanuelle Chriqui<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Not that I want you to go crazy running all over town (leave that to the professional paparazzi!). Certain properties do attract stars more than others\u2026 and not just in their clubs.<\/p>\n

\"Las-vegas-hotel\"<\/a> At the Hard Rock<\/a>, restaurants AGO<\/strong> (Benicio Del Toro to Bon Jovi<\/strong>) and hot date spot Nobu<\/strong> (Faith Hill & Tim McCraw, David & Victoria Beckham<\/strong>) are where you\u2019ll see the fame game played most\u2026though Kiss\u2019 Gene Simmons and LeAnn Rimes prefer Pink Taco. If you want to see a real NFL All Star Game, hit up Rehab at the pool or the poker room. The Joint has closed, but when the New Joint<\/strong> opens, you can expect it to draw as many faces (from Lindsay Lohan to Adam Sandler<\/strong>) as the original. And if you can afford to stay in the Penthouse Suite, you\u2019ll sleep in the same bed(s) that Axl Rose<\/strong> and Carmen Electra<\/strong> have (no, not together\u2026I think).<\/p>\n

<\/a>At Palms<\/strong>, N9ne Steakhouse<\/strong> seems to attract them like honey does flies (Eva Longoria<\/strong>? Check. Leo DiCaprio<\/strong>? Check. Ben Roethlisberger? Check!), while Simon<\/strong> at Palms Place has hosted the likes of Toby Keith and T.I. (and I even hung with The Hills\u2019 Whitney Port there myself). Don\u2019t be surprised to see who\u2019s dropping drawers at Drift spa<\/strong> (I doubt Robin Leach is a regular just for the healing hands)\u2026and I\u2019d be surprised if there\u2019s ever a weekend someone famous isn\u2019t partying in at least one of their fabulous Fantasy suites.<\/p>\n

In the Palazzo<\/strong>, CUT<\/strong> has roped in Luke Wilson<\/strong>, Michael Kors, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt<\/strong>; SushiSamba<\/strong> has drawn Usher<\/strong>, Amanda Bynes, David Spade and Nicolette Sheridan<\/strong>; Barneys New York and Christian Louboutin in the Shoppes see a steady stream, as does the renowned Canyon Ranch Spa, while the Paiza level suites have seen Adrien Brody, Angie Harmon and Molly Sims lay their heads down.<\/p>\n

\"Las-vegas-hotels\"<\/a> As for the Mirage<\/strong>, Cirque Du Soleil\u2019s The Beatles LOVE<\/strong> show has seen a parade that would put any red carpet to shame, from Shaq to Slash, Hef to Demi Moore and of course the surviving Beatles (more than once); Britney Spears<\/strong> loves to take her kids to Siegfried & Roy\u2019s Magic Garden<\/strong> every chance she gets, while Bare pool and Stack restaurant have probably stopped counting (and who wouldn\u2019t want to stay in their incomparable Villa suites?)\u2026<\/p>\n

Want more names? Well, certain celebs never get enough of Vegas, it seems: Take\u2026 Paris & Nicky Hilton<\/strong> (everywhere from Joe\u2019s Stone Crab to Color by Michael Boychuck, and  even Circus Circus<\/a>\u2019 Adventuredome!); the Kardashians<\/strong> (LAX, JET, SushiSamba); The Hills girls<\/strong> (Hard Rock, Palms, Palazzo); Jamie Foxx<\/strong> (Venetian\/Palazzo, Hard Rock); Kid Rock<\/strong> (Palms, Hard Rock, Mirage, repeat); Kobe Bryant <\/strong>(Wynn, Palms, Mirage); Tommy Lee<\/strong> (Planet Hollywood and Palms); Lindsay Lohan<\/strong> and Samantha Ronson (PH, Hard Rock, Palms); Mariah Carey (Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio)\u2026 the list goes on.<\/p>\n

Resident tennis stars Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf<\/strong> love off-Strip Marche Bacchus<\/strong>; Criss Angel<\/strong> takes his girl Holly Madison to Giorgio Ristorante in Mandalay Place; Siegfried & Roy like celeb-magnetic Spago<\/strong>; My good friend Robin Leach adds Postrio<\/strong> (Venetian) and Nove<\/strong> (Palms) to his own list of loves. Bette Midler and Rita Rudner are both out and about often. Oh, and Carrot Top? That guy\u2019s everywhere. Seriously.<\/p>\n

The list is long already, but I would be remiss not to mention just a few more semi-hidden hot spots: Joe\u2019s Stone Crab<\/strong> in the Forum Shops (Eddie Murphy, Keira Knightley, Mary J. Blige<\/strong>); the Country Club<\/strong> at Wynn (George Lucas, Steven Spielberg<\/strong>, Denzel Washington); Koi<\/strong> (Avril Lavigne<\/strong> to John Cleese), Strip House<\/strong> (Simon Cowell to Kat Von D<\/strong>) and the sexy Pleasure Pit gambling tables<\/strong> (Denise Richards<\/strong> to David Hasselhoff) at Planet Hollywood. And have you been to Cathouse<\/strong> at Luxor? Well, Jermaine Dupri<\/strong>, Joe Pesci and Jamie King have!<\/p>\n

Insider Tip<\/strong>: Tickets just went on sale for Paul McCartney<\/strong> opening up the New Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel (bigger than the old Joint, but still tiny by Macca standards) on April 19. They start at $195, but it\u2019s sure to be pretty historical.<\/p>\n
