Rodeway Inn

We stayed in this hotel becoz our previous experience with rodeway inn were so good but this one is not upto the mark. We thought to stay here becoz it is quite near to zion park however the town kanab is a small town with less facilities so dont expect much from this town. The old lady staff of hotel is so rude and she keeps hovering on you when you come for breakfast and keeps checking your plate which looks so weird. The hotel does'nt provide you iron and board in rooms and if you ask them one they don't give you one so plz carry iron too if you plan to stay in this hotel. So the overall experience was not so good, though the tariff was less and you cant expect much in this price but atleast give us the basic neccesity, they cant expect me to carry my iron and board all over the way, really?

Walking distance to town. No refrig. or microwave. No hair dryer. Continental breakfast was a joke. Nowhere to sit and eat your cereal. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

the room was reasonable, staff was good, the pool was small but in a pleasant setting. The only problem that we had was that at 4:30 am someone in the room above us loudly paced back and forth in the room, this lasted until 6:00am

Kanab is a nice little town, however seems to be growing. Two new hotels are being build. The Rodeway Inn needs to do updating, or she may get put out of business. Still a decent place, but new and shiny will prevail.

Nice motel with economical value, great location at Kanab, UT, easy access to Bryce and other national monuments. Free breakfast is simple but good enough, has nothing to complain

We got in late and the staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The are seemed safe, I was pulling a trailer behind my jeep and I want worried about it getting robbed. It was quite, warm and we slept well. Left the next morning after having some of the free breakfast..... it was what you should expect of a free breakfast from a hotel in the middle of nowhere. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. They are also pet friendly.

It's the best location to travel to Zion, Bryce, Page.

We checked in late and when we got to our room there was a sweater on the floor, like either someone was there or the room hadn't been cleaned. The beds were made and sheets were clean but carpet was very dirty. We were there for a couple hours so it was ok. We went to the continental breakfast in the lobby and the two staff there were not friendly at all. I think if you're just driving by and need a place to stay for the night it's ok.

Towel rack became loose from wall. After mentioning to staff and "fixed", it was still mounted at an angle. No hot water on one night. Bathroom molding needed help. Their effort at a continental breakfast would have been better replaced with a simple in-room coffee pot and forget the "breakfast".

Very nice desk agent. Room was ok. Quiet location and close to a few restaurant' s but the night we went we were turned away because 4 buses were dropping off people. Ended up eating at Wendy's. Wish the hotel had not referred us there it would have been beneficial. Maybe restaurants should communicate to hotels about buses that may overload restaurants.

Place is adequate but pretty basic. Well located and good wifi.

Pleasant staff....good location. Would like to see better breakfast.

The motel room is ok. The floor is not clean and the faucet is not tight

This was a great motel right off the main drag. The location is great with pretty views. The pool is secluded. My only complaint would be the breakfast. I understand that it was continental but it consisted of toast and very small (like bite size) muffins. There wasn't even oatmeal that I could feed my infant daughter. I expected alittle more than that.

dated, but does the job; easy to find; convenient location

Was assured that I would have two nonsmoking rooms and got on smoking room that also had water damage. I don't appreciate the false advertising that assured me that I would have non smoking rooms. The personnel at the motel did their best.

Motel is in rundown condition No breakfast area. Breakfast is mediocre,,

I slept on the grass by the pool, had requested a nonsmoking room and got a smoking, it was disgusting. The pool was in pretty good shape but the entire rest of the place was dirty and they would do better not to offer any breakfast at all, it was pitiful.

My daughter in law and granddaughter stayed on their way to college. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, make for a nice stop halfway.

I stayed at the Roadway Inn while volunteering at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The staff was very friendly, and they only charged an extra $6 per night if you have an animal (most places in the area charge $20-$30 extra per night). Great value, simple rooms. Even had a very nice pool. Overall, a simple place at a great value. The owners are pet owners, and I will definitely give them my business when I return!
