Great location and fabulous view Friendly and helpful staff Delicious breakfast

I needed a place for five adults to stay during a quick weekend trip to Zion. Our room at Pioneer Lodge had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with a couch, and a kitchen. It was plenty of space for us all and having the extra bathroom is a plus!

I booked the lodge last minute for one night. It was so nice that I stayed two nights. Nice views of the mountains. Convenient location in Springfield near restaurants and shops and near the national park entry. Friendly and professional staff. Had breakfast, reliable wifi, and easy parking. The room was a generous size, tastefully decorated, linens were all new and good quality, lots of attention to detail - the way the towels were folded, makeup remover, and lots of little details that made me feel welcome and at home. Definitely going back and recommending.

Nice room to sleep in - which is all you need near Zion. Parking was cramped but I had a small rental so it worked. Would hate to have an SUV to park there. Nice early free breakfast. Walking distance to many good eateries.

The hotel was ok. The facility shows its age. The drains in the bathroom drained slowly. Lots of noise from rooms around ours and from the parking lot. Main positive was the location.

The location, and front desk staff were great. The rooms were also nice and comfortable. There was a small fridge and kitchenette area for making lunches. The cons were the odor of dead animals outside (the clothes we washed in the laundry room picked up the odor), no locking door at the laundry room, and the breakfast provided. The breakfast was very minimal and not very good. There were crepes, which was nice, but nothing to put in them. The biscuits were good though.

It was always nice to come back to our rm after a full day of activities, the hot tub was great to warm our tired muscles

Much nicer on inside than you would expect. A few unexpected bugs, but that's not the hotels fault. Super close to Zion was a plus

Facilities were old and worn. Blinds in room did not work and curtains were falling down. Musty odor to room. Parking was limited. Hours of the office were limited, but staff was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient, very close to park, near shopping and dining.

They put us in a room above construction. The workmen played loud music while they worked. We were not offered a quieter room. When alerted to the problem, the manager refused to meet or speak with me. The front desk girl took forty bucks of our total, but we were robbed!!! The comped breakfast was inedible. This place was recently sold. The new guy has no feeling for the beauty of Zion or Springdale UT.

Okay hotel close to Zion. Was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the noisy crown outside but they settled down at a reasonable hour. Pool and jacuzzi was closed by the time we returned from park but used the jacuzzi anyway-quietly. Bedding was very comfortable.

Hotel location is nice considering everything else is in same locality. No onboard food in the lodge ao you have to go outside to eat/order. Room was spacious enough for 2 queen beds although bathroom was concise. Good cushions in beds and nice sleep overall.

Had a great stay! Staff was friendly rooms were comfy. Beds were very comfy!

Good location, cute theme. Pillows were uncomfortable and some surfaces in the room were not clean.

Bedrooms were dirty and the laundry facilities were absolutely disgusting. Front desk did not have change for the washing machine, only one machine was working, many people needing to use it. Their restaurant was not operating even though on enquiry of this, staff said it was open.

Given the touristy area, we had low expectations, which were far exceeded. A newly renovated room, comfortable bed, and great TV and internet service.

Good location, close to zion and near shuttle stop 5. Hotel is older and that would be ok if housekeeping would clean better. Carpet was never vacuumed while we were there or before we checked in for that matter.

Great charm, very nice staff, kids loved the pool and easy access to the park.

Very comfortable hotel, exactly the "lodge" feel I wanted.

Fine space for rest after a long day/hike in the Park. Great location, near a shuttle to the Park and places to eat.
