Facilities were old and worn. Blinds in room did not work and curtains were falling down. Musty odor to room. Parking was limited. Hours of the office were limited, but staff was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient, very close to park, near shopping and dining.

They put us in a room above construction. The workmen played loud music while they worked. We were not offered a quieter room. When alerted to the problem, the manager refused to meet or speak with me. The front desk girl took forty bucks of our total, but we were robbed!!! The comped breakfast was inedible. This place was recently sold. The new guy has no feeling for the beauty of Zion or Springdale UT.

Okay hotel close to Zion. Was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the noisy crown outside but they settled down at a reasonable hour. Pool and jacuzzi was closed by the time we returned from park but used the jacuzzi anyway-quietly. Bedding was very comfortable.

Hotel location is nice considering everything else is in same locality. No onboard food in the lodge ao you have to go outside to eat/order. Room was spacious enough for 2 queen beds although bathroom was concise. Good cushions in beds and nice sleep overall.

Had a great stay! Staff was friendly rooms were comfy. Beds were very comfy!

Good location, cute theme. Pillows were uncomfortable and some surfaces in the room were not clean.

Bedrooms were dirty and the laundry facilities were absolutely disgusting. Front desk did not have change for the washing machine, only one machine was working, many people needing to use it. Their restaurant was not operating even though on enquiry of this, staff said it was open.

Given the touristy area, we had low expectations, which were far exceeded. A newly renovated room, comfortable bed, and great TV and internet service.

Good location, close to zion and near shuttle stop 5. Hotel is older and that would be ok if housekeeping would clean better. Carpet was never vacuumed while we were there or before we checked in for that matter.

Great charm, very nice staff, kids loved the pool and easy access to the park.

Very comfortable hotel, exactly the "lodge" feel I wanted.

Fine space for rest after a long day/hike in the Park. Great location, near a shuttle to the Park and places to eat.

Decent motel, great location. The pillows were a bit thin, but, otherwise, a comfortable and clean place to rest after a long day of hiking at Zion.

Misrepresented. Resturaunt had closed completely. Vending machines out of order, coffee bar that was advertised in lobby didn't exist and coffee machine that was actually in lobby was broke. Pool was dirty.

The Pioneer Lodge itself was fair. Reverse plumbing in bathroom. Battery had been removed from smoke detector. So so clean carpet. No unpleasant odors. Amazing location for closeness and views of the mountains.

Clean and nicely decorated in a style to fit the name. Great location.

We stayed here two nights, room was not very clean. Although the beds are comfortable, bed linen is worn, duvet cover had a stain. Pool was closed, would not used it anyway, since it looked dirty. All said, it is serviceable for spending a night after a full day of hiking in Zion Nat'l park.

I asked the receptionist if there were any rooms on the first floor and she responded in a not nice way. But will definitely stay there again.

Comfortable enough. No breakfast included, just juice and coffee. They have a restaurant but make you pay for it! Zion is extremely busy... Get out very early to hike the best trails... Watchmans trail was a nice one.

This a very sweet place! The decor is newer and the room was spotless. It is within walking distance of everything in town. The park is within walking distance (about 3 miles). Our room has a fridge, microwave and space to prep meals. I would definitely stay here again!
