I have stayed in quite a few places in Riga now and this one is right up there. If you don't mind the fact that it isn't right in the old town, then this is great. There is a bus/tram stop right outside though, and a taxi can take you across.... or you can walk there in about 20 mins, across the bridge. The hotel's strong plus is its location by a park - great view, great place to walk. And it has a fantastic breakfast range - much better than most The rooms are great, all you'd expect, quiet too.
Stayed here for 5 days July 17.nice hotel rooms are fine nice powerful shower.no safe in rooms safes are in safe room next to reception.wi fi is also good.10/15 mins from Riga airport bus no 22 drops u right outside hotel for $1.15 if ticket bought in airport or €2 on bus.Bus and tram also stop outside the hotel to town centre 5 mins travel or 15/20 mins walk. The public transport in Riga is great with trams and buses running untill 12 at night to this hotel also if using bus or tram buy tickets from naverseen shops there on every street corner u get it cheaper than paying on bus.only complaint about hotel is bar closes at 12 thought it would have been later at weekends.
In our days it's hard to go to business trip and same time to have little bit of relaxing time as well but for sure my opinion changed after lovely stay in Bellavue park hotel. I stayed there for 3 days and I can definitely say that it's worth every single penny. Most of the places are offering very expensive accommodation and not always it is as good as supposed to be for the price specified, but this time I felt that the price was lower than offered hospitality. Exelent. Room 809 was just amazing.. Great view and warm feeling resting after devestating day. Beautiful bar and lounge area was in top level as well witch I enjoyed. Tasty, with care and hight volume service. Extra thanks to front desk team witch helped me with everything I need during my trip. For sure coming back. Thank you Bellavue park hotel.
Just 15 min walk to the center. Can use the tram as well. Quite and relaxing although huge. Pick upper floor to gain fresh air and quiteness. Huge verity of breakfast options. Not all of the best quality but good. Better after 9am after groups leave. Dinner is very good.
The 22 bus from the airport which is excellent value at €2, will drop you at the top of road in about 20mins and then it's about a 1km walk to the hotel. Alternatively, for ease, you can get a taxi for about €15. The hotel is across the river, but the bus and tram stops outside the door, and gets you into the centre in about 10mins. Would recommend the 3 day pass at €10. The hotel entrance is lovely and staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a superior room with access to the spa, the room on the 9th, was spacious with a great view from the balcony. The room was slightly dated but bed is comfortable and we had everything we needed, toiletries, kettle, teas, coffee, fridge and a hairdryer. The tv was small and old and could do with an update. There are 2 English news channels and the rest are a mixture of various other languages. The buffet breakfast is excellent and has something for everyone. It is the same things every day, as we stayed for 4 nights, a few different options daily would have been nice but every morning we left happy with full stomachs, ready to start the day. The recently renovated spa was lovely and relaxing with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The only niggle we had was our housekeeper, every morning we greeted her with a smile and good morning but we got nothing in return, not even a smile and even ignored at times. I work in the hotel industry and all members of staff are expected to be friendly and helpful to all guests. It really makes a difference. Staff at the restaurant, bar and reception were great, so it's a pity about the housekeeping. Overall, the hotel is excellent value for money and we enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend it.
The hotel is well located, rooms are spaciousness and nicely furnished, beds comfortable, bathrooms spacious, everywhere is clean. Tasty breakfasts, good food in restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel was great. There was lot of room to Park a car. Furniture was New. The breakfest was Perfect. Breakfest had a Major collection of different Foods. Next time i visit in Riga i will use this hotel once again.
Picked up from airport and dropped at Bellevue Hotel Riga. 4 Star Hotel, paid extra for a "spa room". 10pm arrival, hungry, restaurant shut, no room service. Soundproofing? No. 10th Floor, Bellevue Restaurant? Err, no. Spa? Err, No. Still, I eat a pack of salt and vinegar crisps, chalked it up and relaxed into a nice bath. After 10 minutes, the water was still brown. Inconvenient in a bath, damn right scary when using a bidet! Still, the hotel reception said they'd tell someone. At least the card reader that keeps the electricity going in the room came out in sympathy and tried to kill me by falling apart.
stayed at Bellvue park may/june 17.Arrived at modern hotel reception in evening and was very warmly greeted by receptionist. After a quick check in was directed to my lovely 10th floor room with great views of park. The hotel is set in a beautiful park.In addition the number 22 airport bus stops outside and also does 22 minibus. The airport bus costs an unbelievable e1.15.Yes one euro fifteen cents for about an 8kilometer journey. Also outside the hotel is the tram line to and from Riga also only costing e1.15 per single trip.journey takes 10 minutes. My room was spotlessly clean at all times and the bathroom was particularly lovely. The room had tv and aircon.I was very well satisfied.Breakfast was multi multi choice eggs, ham, bacon, cheese, sausages, fish, salad, cakes, bubble and squeak, toast and much more.I dined in a few times in the hotel restaurant and very glad. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The hotel has a fixed price three course menu for e17 graat value.I had a whole trout plus vegetables for e7 Yes 7 euro! great great value. The restaurant does however have its quirks.Although it says it sell food up to 10.30pm unless you order EVERYTHING before 10.30pm you will not be served. For example one evening I arrived in restaurant at 9.45pm it was 10pm when I gave my order for starter/main course. It took a little over 30mins to be served and eat both courses.I then ordered my dessert and was told kitchen was closed! But I exclaimed I was already in restaurant before kitchen closed.Too bad was the reply I should have ordered all three courses together. This attitude needs to change very soon.It spoit my meal.It happened a 2nd time but this was my own fault as I didn't get to restaurant until 10.20pm but even I still think I should have been warned no dessert or anyfood unless you order by 10.30pm.I drank at hotel bar a large beer e4.50 no different to outside bars.Overall this is a lovely hotel with lovely helpful staff.Dining experience needs to improve when it does I would rate this hotel 95%
