very comfortable room with luxurious and tasty decoration. great location in the middle of the city and close to restaurants. easy parking. We did not try the breakfast so can't comment on that. very good for quick stop over on the way to Madrid.
We stayed at this hotel 1 night on a recent trip through Northern Spain. The room was really nice along with the bathroom. Very clean. Also found this hotel conveniently located to the main plaza and cathedral. An easy walk. One of the nicer hotels we stayed in on this trip. Great breakfast in the morning Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Being not small, this gym needs to be renovated. There are several cardio machines, but not a cross-trainer one. There are three indoor cycles, but no one for spinning. Many dumbbells and some weight machines.
Hotel is a bit run-down. Could use a face lift. Location is perfect. Bed was really comfortable and large. Taxi stop near by. Did not like the new policy of invoicing at the moment of check-in. Next thing you know we'll be getting billed at a restaurant before sitting down to have a meal. I could have benefited from a discount if I would have wanted to pre-pay my hotel upon reservation. I've stayed at this hotel 3-4 times already but it will be the last with this new policy. Staff seems to mind their own business and do not make you feel welcome (or unwelcome for that matter). Again, nothing really bad to comment on, but for this service and price, there are better options in the centre of Zaragoza, especially if they continue to demand payment before " consuming". I find this a lack of respect as you can tell.
I recently stayed at this hotel during a business trip. The staff on reception were extremely helpful and the room was well appointed and comfortable. I did not dine in the restaurant while I was at the hotel, but I did use the room service which was very good and also quick. If I am ever back in Zaragoza I would stay here again.
Arrived on spec following rejecting a hotel previuosly booked. Very helpful reception staff, show us a standard double room before we decided.Paid 178 euro for the night happily for a last minute booking.Disappointed they didn't have a restuarant but it is centrally located and so a multitude of budget restuarants around but not anything special.Parking underneath hotel was great . Historic sites to see within easy walking distance.Short but enjoyable stay.
Hotel is modern and the rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Shame there is no hot drink making facilities but fairly rare outside UK. Good location and just 5 minute walk to central area with loads of great places to eat.
The location is very good, short walk to everywhere and yet a quiet hotel. We were upgraded to a grande suite. Very spacious but also very dark room. The carpet in the room is not very nice. We had some troubles in the reception because everyone does not speak English very well. This is the case all over Zaragoza, you'd better learn some Spanish to manage in the restaurants etc. Anyway we had a nice four days in Zaragoza. The price level is very low compared to Barcelona. We had excellent 3 course lunches with a nice bottle of wine for 25,- euros for two! The sightseeing bus costed less than 5 euros per person. The breakfast at the hotel is very good but the problem was the coffee. There is only the machines to get espressos. Fortunately we managed to ask for ' cafe americano' and we got a jug of 'normal' coffee from the kitchen
A warm welcome by efficient staff. Only a short walk from the cathedral and masses of bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious and very luxurious. Great bathroom with all you need. Parking nearby. Lovely bar with comfortable chairs and good service
The Melia Zaragoza is a charming hotel near the centre of the city. There is parking directly beneath which was also very useful. We booked a junior suite - it was massive! The bed was a king and very comfortable and the staff even left little treats to welcome us. The bathroom was also well appointed and very clean. The room was perhaps a bit dated but that was my own personal taste and would not distract from the quality of the stay. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, tasty and fresh. All the staff were helpful and friendly.
