Excellent Parador. Love the room, love the public places. Service was very friendly and helpful. The two is interesting, and the view from the room was breath taking. Breakfast was OK. Unfortunately - dinner was a disappointment.
This parador, while modern, meets every expectation of comfort. All the public rooms are inviting. There are plenty of spaces where you can sit with a small group of friends and share a bottle of wine. The rooms are spacious and the baths have double sinks. The whole place is light, bright and new. A real pleasure. The staff is particularly friendly and accommodating. You can walk to the old walled town, but it is uphill. There is a glacier lake nearby with a solar powered boat to take you around with a guided tour. Very interesting and worthwhile.
Excellent hotel in every way. Amazing room, wonderful helpful staff,a good level of comfort, it felt very welcoming and the food was of a good quality if slightly limited in choice. The location is in a very beautiful, quiet and relaxing area, at least it was very tranquil when we travelled at the beginning of October
A good place to stay in the middle of culture and nature with nice a room, good dinner and breakfast providing good comfort. This was one of over 15 Paradores we visited over the last few years and an unnecessary long reviwe as a duty is not expoerienced as friendly to me as a helpful guest..
Although modern, this parador has been beautifully and tastefully designed. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The nearby old town is beautiful and the hotel is situated in a gorgeous area. We wished we could have stayed longer.
The hotel was fine and the staff very professional but there is nothing special about the building as one could expect from a parador... The room was comfortable, although the air conditioner was very weak...
Nice modern paradox in a very beautiful area. Room clean and tidy and with a view of castle. Third bed was a sofa bed with thin mattress but we were given an additional one promptly on request. Air con didn't work well. Good breakfast. Helpful desk staff. Would stay again.
Nice hotel with decent restaurant Room was very nice but as the hotel was quite expensive I would have expected this anyway The restaurant was nice and the waitresses really helpful with Gluten Free for my wife Breakfast was outstanding with a superb selection and so many Gluten Free products and a really helpful waitress Motorbike parking was nice and easy outside front door nice and safe Great stop over on the way to portugal
We had a tough walk to Sanabria on our way to Santiago and the stay at the Parador was vey refreshing. The staff friendly and attentive, the rooms and common areas of the Parador very nice. All together we give Sanabria a top rating.
All members of the staff are professional and friedly. A perfect stay. Parador-Building and the near old town of Puebla de Sanabria is worth for a visit. The Parador is ready with good technical equipment (computer, etc.). The kitchen and the restaurant-service leads to more than you need - it is very good.
