Last weekend me and my husband had 15th wedding anniversary and we decided for Sheraton in Zagreb. I highly recommended The Sheraton hotel. At first they upgraded us to 6th floor to a really nice room and then they gave us free champagne and fruits, chocolates... The breakfast was really good. They have proper coffee and that's really rare in hotels... At first there was slooow internet. My husband went to the reception and they fixed immediately.. They just gave us the cable... it was the best anniversary ever... Thanks. Tanja
Sheraton Hotel in Zagreb was excellent with great rooms. Perfect location and wonderful food. We enjoyed our hotel and the City of Zagreb. We did extensive walking around our hotel. Croatia is a beautiful country.
Its centrally located and for the price, you just can't beat it!! All the comfort of a regular Sheraton, but elevated!! Our room was quite large, with a very comfortable bed - and the best part was they allowed us to use our Platinum breakfast benefit for room service! What a spot!
My friend and I had great service from their reception desk staff and concierge, especially with Stepan from concierge. WOW! He went out of his way to ask how we were doing, chatted, booked us with a private tour guide Marijan (excellent and respectable person), and just attentive to our needs. A+++++ service all around. Food was delicious and servers always on top of our requests. Very friendly and great English! Thank you for this wonderful experience. We will be back for sure.
This is a nice and modern hotel with all accomodations you can ask for. Located near downtown Zagreb and near to several restaurants. Free Wifi in the whole complex.... Very good breakfast and a huge lobby where you can just sit and enjoy yourself.
We arrived Zagreb after visiting Plitvice lakes by bus. Followed google map walked about 20 min. to Sheraton. Very clean and nice location. Everyone spoke good English. We didn't eat at the hotel because it is close to city center where you can find lots of restaurants and morning market. There was a festival celebration held at The central square. We feel very safe and decided to walk from and to the center. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
While the hotel looks a bit old I liked the executive room we've booked. This was on the 6th floor on the "Club/Executive" level. The view was terrible though. You could see the roofs of neighboring buildings and some other establishments that looked really bad. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were crispy clean with a fresh smell. Loved the amenities provided in the bathroom but I didn't like the shower/bath cover. It's only a tiny glass-made section that keeps the water in. For people who like to take splashing showers that means lots of water on the floor. It would be better to just put shower curtains ;) We chose to have breakfast one morning and while a bit pricey(150Kn/per person) for Zagreb it was quite diverse. Tip for breakfast: there's an awesome bakery around the corner-Pan Pek (simply exit the hotel and head right. Walk for 1-2 minutes and you'll find it) where 2 people can get food for as low as 30-50Kn. Special thanks to the Reception staff who were wonderful. We booked last minute tours and we had to call & confirm the pick-up. Since our UAE lines didn't work there, the staff at the reception was kind enough to let us use their hotel telephone. Many thanks for that.
The hotel is strategically located in the city of Zagreb. The tram stop to the Main Square is 2 mins walk at the side of the hotel. The drop-off Tram stop is right in front of the hotel. The tram costs 4 kuna (50cent euro) for half hour ride to anywhere. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. We love our stay there.
Overall the hotel is nice. It is a little dated which lets it down a bit. Our room rate included breakfast which had a good spread. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We weren't there long enough to use any other facilities i.e. Pool, sauna, gym, etc
My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights. We were very surprised how close it was to the centre and city buildings (inc. cathedral etc.) which were only a 10 minute walk or ~£2 uber. In regards to the actual hotel...wow. I've never stayed in such a clean, spacious beautiful hotel and I have stayed in many for my work. The staff were a credit to the organisation. The beds were immaculate and having staff come to the room to offer free chocolates and if we needed fresh towels was a really nice touch, made us feel at home. We had a small view of the town from our room which allowed us to gather some bearings (room 621). The room service was tasty but not the best i've had. The bed we could hardly get out of and the rooms seemed to have sound proofing and had black-out blinds, superb. Many thanks indeed Sheraton Zagreb
