We stayed 2 nights as part of a tour. The room itself was huge but the bathroom was on the small side. The wc was too close to the wall and there were no hooks for used towels. Also a bit stingy with replacement toiletries on second day. WiFi was generally good with no need for passwords. Breakfast had plenty of choice though coffee was only about 2.5/5 stars for both options and placement of cutlery and plates was odd. Wait staff generally helpful. Note our room had a jug to boil water though the mini bar fridge had a tape seal that prevented private use.

I was a guest of the hotel one year ago and had one minor incident with the hotel guest (what had absolutely nothing to do with the hotel- hotels neither can nor should check their guests biographies or mental states). After the initial frustration (with this guest behavior towards me), I was more then pleasantly surprised with the way hotel staff dealt with the whole situation (handling the issue and apologizing- all the way from the reception to the hotel manager), but then my customer journey with Sheraton really had begun. First extra mile hotel provided was offering me free weekend in the hotel as a compensation for the bad experience (again: with the hotel guest, not the hotel). I had different bad situations in some other hotels, but was never offered with nothing more then an apology! Second extra mile was that, once I decided to use this generous offer, I found out that hotel upgraded us to an executive apartment (newly renovated)! Third extra mile was a bottle of a high quality Croatian wine, fruit & sweets basket and a welcome note in the apartment! Now, I say extra miles because all of this was absolutely not necessary- as I said: most of the hotels would settle with the apology. My point is that Sheraton hotel management didn't do it because they had to, but because they wanted to- they wanted to turn bad customer experience (that wasn't really their fault) into "wow" , and they succeeded completely in my case! So, I had 2 completely different experiences in Sheraton, but both time hotel staff made (positive) difference, and that what makes great hotels- people working there. So, 5 stars for the staff (hotel categorization is vouching for the space & facilities, but staff can only be evaluated by the guests). Sheraton Zagreb, thank you for the great experience!

I don't recommend this business level hotel if you need internet access or wifi. It was super slow, inconsistent and I had to call tech support 3x with zero success. Location isn't bad, but since internet is my top priority in hotel, this place rates low with me.

The Sheraton was a great way to get over jet lag and acclimate to Croatia. Staff is friendly and competent. Rooms are spacious and clean. Housekeeping is meticulous. Location is 15 minutes walk from the old town center where all the action is. It is a hotel with tons of tourists (like bus loads at peak times - check out, check in). It is also a hotel for business conferences - floor 2 has the meeting rooms and the suites can be full of suits. The gym is more than adequate. The pool is indoors which is a shame b/c there is a little sitting area for outdoor tanning, adjacent to it. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant (buffet or otherwise) upon the recommendations of others - so much good food in town. Transportation is easy access - they can call you a taxi or a private driver for daylong excursions. Wifi is on the slow side, probably b/c everyone is on it (or maybe b/c our room was far from the elevator - not sure where their wifi access points were located on the floor). They have USB charging built into the outlets which is great for mobile phones. Bathrooms are nice and water pressure is quite strong. Rooms are quiet. Decor is a matter of personal choice - you can look at all the photos of the exterior and interior to make your own determination.

This hotel was part of our booked trip via British Airways. We have stayed at Sheraton Hotels many times and we shall be at the Sheraton in Chicago next month. We do not feel the 5* rating is accurate. We were checked-in and greeted by Matej who was kind considerate and imparted some useful local knowledge.(Great Guy) We had booked a deluxe room but as we are SPG members we were upgraded to the executive floor (6th) Problem..the room was a connecting room. Which is a big no no for us. As seasoned travelers we know that this must be reported straight away so we did. We were told the occupiers next door were elderly and they should not pose a problem. We did state that connecting rooms are always a problem regarding noise for us. We were offered a room on the 4th floor (our original room type) however we decided to stay on the 6th floor with the assurance there should not be a problem with noise. Early evening came and so did the noise. We went back to the front desk to say it had happened as we expected it would only to be told the hotel is full and no spare rooms. We stated that we can not stay in the room and that we will telephone for another hotel in the area. The front desk staff did not like that comment at all from the look we got. Frantic tapping on the terminal and them a room suddenly appears on screen…Magic. Ice is on request..five* hotel with no ice on the room floors not seen that in an age. We had room service on both nights and the food was reasonable but nothing special for the price. Not a Sheraton we would rush back to or recommend. We loved walking around the city finding Geocaches, which was, the reason for us visiting the City.

Great place to stay in the heart of the city. I visited during some festivals and the location of the hotel allowed to reach many spot by walking. Staff of hotel was very nice, space rooms and nice breakfast with excellent and helpful service!! Any time again!!

This hotel is centrally located, with updated rooms. Exactly what you'd expect from Sheraton. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Wifi works great. Mini bar in room stocked and gym and spa are well maintained.

A pleasant Hotel to start our tour to The Balkans- the room are very spacious and comfortable- the only down side was there did not appear to be a pool, which would have been handy to cool down in after a morning/afternoon sightseeing. Situated about a 15/20 minute stroll from the "old town " - As a short stay this Hotel would be fine.

We were here with a tour from the US and stayed 2 nights. The hotel was clean, service personnel seemed competent and helpful. Our welcome buffet dinner at the hotel was good and hearty, but nothing spectacular. The breakfast was very good and enough variety to satisfy most people. For a 4-star or 5-star hotel, we were surprised that there were no water heater so we could have tea or a coffee-maker in the room. Another surprise was that they did not have a electric adapter/convertor from the US. Free wi-fi in the room was nice.

We stayed here 2 nights while on vacation. We read other reviews about the distance, but we walked to the downtown area every day at least once sometimes twice and it wasn't a long walk at all. Maybe 15 minutes. The hotel was fine-nothing amazing, nothing bad. The front desk was always super helpful. Our room was a little warm and the windows don't open and the AC didn't cool it off very much. We didn't eat any meals there so can't say anything about the food. Parking is a garage close by. We used points also, so not sure what the average $ for a room is.
