Nice modern hotel. Our beds were comfortable, and although hotel rooms in Europe are smaller than in the US, the double rooms here were good sized. We also had a really nice dinner in the restaurant with a good house red wine. Breakfast was a buffet and was more than adequate.
The hotel was central, clean and modern. The staff were helpful. BUT the half board meal included in our stay which we were given a voucher for was the worst meal we have ever had! Warmed up over cooked vegetables and salmon you could use to sole your shoes the waiter was apologetic I felt he was embarrassed by the poor standard of the food. We didn't eat in the American grill at the hotel so I can't comment on that.
Great stay! Perfect location with clean rooms. Parking available behind the hotel a little tricky to find on your own so be sure to ask prior to check in. Excellent cafes and bakeries just outside the front door. Live music could be heard from right outside hotel.
The hotel is on a pedestrian area, so you have to walk a ways with luggage. But the hotel is in a perfect place. It's right in the middle of downtown Zagreb, and only a few steps from the tram, which is easy to use and you can get to anywhere in the city from there. The breakfast was fantastic. Staff were more than accommodating. I was able to convert US dollars to Croatia kuna with no transaction fee at the front desk. Free wifi was great. This was my first trip to Croatia. I hope to come back, and I'll definitely stay here again.
We recently stayed for one night and can highly recommed this hotel. The location was fantastic and each of our rooms were very clean and a good size. Shower worked very well. One of our friends room overlooked the square so would recommend requesting this. Breakfast was buffet style and really good selection. The staff were so friendly and efficient from check in to check out in all areas. Our stay was too short but gave us enough time to do a walking tour and visit the market before heading to Plitvice Lakes for one night. The hotel is located one minute from both. Would highly recommend staying here.
About a 20 min walk from main train station. Centrally located hotel. Super friendly staff with no hesitations calling out tours, we had a disabled room (mustve been only free room) eitherway great we had more space. Drycleaning reasonably priced, breakfast good only small hiccup was coffee wasnt great.. highly recommended this hotel
Very centrally located. Room is clean and comfortable. tv works. Have a small fridge and mini bar. Hotel provides transformer for the plugs. Bathroom is clean. Obviously i run out of things to say......................................
This is walking distance to old down and all of Zagreb which is very small. Not a lot of character, much like an American hotel but good service, nice rooms and all you would want from a hotel. On a pedestrian street but still a bit noisy.
After a terrible shock upon arrival to Zagreb, Hotel Dubrovnik saved the stay!! Bait & Switch" tactic at hotel I originally booked. Walked down to Hotel Dubrovnik hoping to secure a room and got much more. Lovely member of staff (Phillip) walked back with us to the unacceptable hotel with us to collect our baggage. (I had to pay 2 night penalty sadly enough). Problem solved and off we were to a lovely weekend in Zagreb. Room was clean, spacious, quiet. Quality breakfast included. All this and the hotel was just about at capacity. Highly recommend the property. Rates are more than fair and affordable. Employees are amazing.
The hotel is at a very good location, a short walk from many of the city's attractions. We arrived here late in the evening and found the location somewhat difficult to reach by car. Do not carry too much luggage as the parking is some distance away. The hotel has two different wings. We were a group of three couples and were provided rooms in different wings. When we requested for rooms in the same wing, one of the ladies in the reception was downright rude and told us that it was not possible (we had booked the rooms well ahead). We were in Room No. 321 which had lovely views over the square. The room was spacious and comfortable but there was no tea/coffee maker, a common shortcoming I experienced in all hotels in Croatia. The hotel Wifi was somewhat erratic and worked well in the common areas but not in the room. Breakfast at the hotel has reasonable variety but not much in terms of vegetables & fruits. The hotel scores well in overall cleanliness and ambience ; the staff are mostly courteous and speak good English. I do recommend this hotel but make sure you get a room overlooking the square
