Hotel Dubrovnik4.0 out of 5.0

Stayed here for 5 nights. Room well styled. Staff very pleasant and helpfully. Location is ideal as close to everything. Breakfast has plenty of options available. Drink prices very reasonable. Would recommend.
We spent two nights in the Hotel Dubrovnik and found it to be, overall, a positive experience. The location is great -- near everything, especially Main Square and good restaurants. The breakfast was more than satisfactory, the staff was very helpful. The room was OK, rather small (but gigantic compared to the Riva in Hvar), and the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. To be honest, the worst aspect of the place was getting in and out of the tub to take a shower -- you practically needed to be a hurdler to get in and out. My guess is that you had to step in and over a barrier of more than three feet.
Our family use this hotel ever since 1973. So many times we spent in this wonderful resort, even during the war period in the beginning of the 90's. The team is great, welcome is so warm and they really try to fulfill all guests needs and requests. Breakfast is excellent, just don't take coffee from the automatic machine. Ask one of the waiters to bring you coffee from the real machine. Also ask for the old part of the hotel which overlooks the central square and the cathedral. very much recommended and appreciated.
If you are visiting Zagreb this is probably the best location to stay. Most of the attractions are in walking distance. Rooms are comfortable (comparable to 5 star hotels) and if you are lucky, you can book the room with the view on central square (Ban Jelacic).
Certainly can't argue with the reviewers that rate the location of this hotel as excellent. However quality of the rooms in terms of size and the obvious need for maintenance and upgrading leaves something to be desired. We were only here for one night so put up with it but had we been staying here any longer we would have requested something better in the hotel or looked for alternate accommodation.
We Stayed in this same hotel 6 years ago and its been upgraded a little since then. Friendly helpful front counter staff. Good Clean room. Excellent Buffett breakfast. Situated in a pedestrian zone for shopping eating etc. Difficult to access by car or taxi due the vehicle restrictions. Would be happy to stay again in future.
It's a perfect hotel to visit the most interesting sights of the city. You can walk to the Upper Town and toTkalčićeva street. The area is full of bars and resturants. The rooms are confortable and clean. The breakfast is ok, nothing extraordinary.
This was our first stop on a 12 day trip to Croatia. This hotel was wonderful. The customer service was excellent. The hotel is centrally located in the center of town. You can easily walk to anywhere. Just be prepared for a lot of steps in Croatia. The room was comfortable, relaxing and luxurious for Europe. The breakfast buffet would rival any you can find in Las Vegas. I'm only sorry we were there for only one night. A must stay if you get the chance.
This review will be short, because Hotel Dubrovnik is basically flawless. The hotel is situated in the centre of Zagreb so all the sights can be reached on foot. Room was great: nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very luxurious. Hotel has its own car park (which can be booked in advance).
I chose this hotel primarily because of the availability of parking, which is nearby but not directly on the hotel premises. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city. The rooms are elegant and I highly recommend the deluxe king. It was amazing. I can't understand all of the reviews mentioning problems with noise. Not withstanding the central location, it was very peaceful.
