We was there after the main season, and a bigger apartment was offered for us. (An Apartment for 4, instead of apartment for 2). Everything was excellent, the several different playground was awesome.
Excellent accomodation in **** aparments, full scope of services in the resort, outstanding fun for kids, newly renovated swimming pools. I don´t know the quality of other types of accomodation, but most of the people I talked to were happy.
We were traveling with our 1.5 years old kid and she had great fun in the backyard and the beach. The resort is child friendly and provides lots of facilities to the guests, including the renovated swimming pool. Sadly there was only sofa bed option in our room so I am taking a star.
We stayed in zaton holiday resort for 3 nights at end of September. We stayed in a studio apartment which suited 2 of us for the short stay. The resort was quiet at this time of year but seemed to have lots of activities for families. We had bad weather so didn't get to enjoy the fantastic pools. We walked to Nin which is a quaint village nearby. We had a car so we drove to Zadar 2 evenings and Plitvice national park one day. The only issue we had was no electricity on our last night that could not be sorted until the morning. We would recommend this resort for families as there are great facilities.
A beautiful complex on the beach in a pine forest.Perfect place.Various entertainments for any age. Lovely pools for children and adults. In the complex there are all necessary shops, fine restaurants, a pharmacy. it was a wonderful holiday, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended. We lived in 4 * apartments.
Very nice place, ideal for kids, clean, we are definetly going again next year. We had halfboard and it was delicous, great variety of food. My recomendation is only to build more toilets close to the beach.
We spent the first night in the 3-star apartment and I do not know which time I ask the management of this tourist resort: redecorate them and modernize !!!! They look like poor sisters of a 4-star apartment. The other days we spent in 4 star apartments and they are really great! A big complaint to the staff of the restaurant during breakfast, which literally lurk when you eat the last bit and then rob you plate. Horrible !!!! Unfortunately, every year guests who come from mid-September have a smaller and smaller offer, almost no animation, and prices are higher and higher. I think that they should pay equal attention to those who come in September like they do with guests who come in July and August . Unfortunately, we can not all go on vacation in those months! The new swimming pools are wonderful, but the entrance to the steep stairs is not the best solution. All these little objections do not mean that we will not spend our vacation in Zaton next year for the seventh time.
Pros: - unbeatable price if you are going in September (2 bedroom **** apartment) - apartments are well equipped and cosy - half board is just more than enough and really good - a lot of greenery and a lot of space for walking, playgrounds at every corner, everything is clean - really(!) good pool complex, perfect for kids - really nice beach which is, again, perfect for kids - a lot of activity possibilities (either for free or for money) - nice staff, especially at the reception Cons (not complaining, just good to know): - car parkings are a bit far from the 4**** apartments (3-5 minute walk). The only downside with this is when you are packing out/in. - our apartments were not cleaned during the 1 week stay, just the towels were changed - some small things in the apartment are ready to be changed, for ex. we couldn't close 100% the sliding door to the terrace, because of a broken part. I don't know if these are in this way for years, or are the results of the current season, though. Overall we had a really nice stay at Zaton Holiday Resort, it is definitely recommended for families.
Beautiful place, I recommend to everyone! Modern and clear apartments (****), well-kept environment, child friendly beach. Nice people, fine restaurants. Many activities, mini golf, adventure golf, tennis, beach ball, jetski, paraflying, swimming pools, etc. In high season a little bit expensive.
Stayed here for a few nights in Sept 17. The pool and apartment facilities were impressive for the price of accommodation, but the atrocious terribly rude service from all restaurants combined with grossly excessive prices for poor quality food and drink soured the experience. Two exceptions were friendly staff at the bakery and chemist. Other problems included wifi constantly dropping out and swipe cards ceasing to work and needing to be reset.
