Next to the train station so only 10 minutes to Amsterdam Central. Close to Zaanse Schans where it's a must see. Windmills, cheese.... Take the boat from Westside. ...nice ride. Zaandam is a quaint nice area with a lot of local food and bars. I rate it 150......

Inntel made our holiday terrific. The staff was friendly and always helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. We would stay with them again. A big thank you to all of the staff for making our holiday wonderful.

Our third stay at this hotel. Obviously we like it. Location is perfect for shopping, having breakfast, lunch or dinner and the closeness to the railroad station to go to just about where ever you want to go.

It's absolutely not close to city center like others said.Hotel have not met with our expectations. Train trip ( Departure and arriving) is almost 10-15 minutes.OK. But from hotel to city Landmarks, it takes almost one hour. If you forget something or want to go to your room in the middle of day. It's disaster. You have to buy extra tickets all the time. You can not use daily Amsterdam cards in Zaandam. We arrived after midnight because of flight, so we were tired and thirsty, but even there was not one bottle of water, people can pay at checkout, no problem. But it's completely unprofessional hotel. It was a neat and tidy room. But it's not enough toilet cleanless was terrible ( I found out human dirts on toilet seat) I cleaned myself! which is not acceptable for me. Mattress was also so soft. If you have limited time, I recommend you to stay in city center. (They accepts pets which is not a positive thing for me)

Advert hadn't warned us about the extra parking costs which we thought were excessive. There were some seedy characters hanging about on the evening we were there. The receptionist was professional to the point we couldn't relate to him.

We had a great time, surrounding areas looks like a Sweden village with stores and places to eat. Steps from train station. Very comfortable, clean and helpful staff.

The hotel was a five star hotel in a 3 star location. Had to rely on the train/metro to get into central Amsterdam. Taxis way to expense and no hotel shuttle. Recommendation the hotel should set up shuttle service. Restaurant in hotel expensive for area. Room was comfortable and large internet service great. Would stay here again if providing transportation into central Amsterdam.

When I first booked this hotel, I wasn't really concerned about the inside or the amenities, I was in love with the outside. It looks like a doll house made of Lego's. Once I arrived I was greeted by an amazing staff and was issued my room key. My room was big as far as European hotels go. Really big. I was so surprised. The room was very clean and the bed & pillows were comfortable. I loved the wellness area on the second floor. The steam room and sauna were visited every day. I didn't use their indoor pool, but I checked it out and it was top notch. Oh and did I mention location? GREAT location. a Quick train ride to Amsterdam Central, and located right outside the train station in Zaandam. Overall I rate this hotel a 10 out of 10.

Great modern hotel. 2 minute walk to tons of stores and restaurants. 12 min train ride to amsterdam. 1 min walk to train station.

The hotel was 12 minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal, but the train stop in Zaandam is directly next to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and rooms were great! I highly recommend.

Very pleased with the hotel. The location was a bit outside of the city, but was a very convenient two train stops from the main train station in Amsterdam. Not to mention the train station was right next door to the hotel, so even with luggage, it was not difficult to get there. That being said, I loved the quiet location of the hotel. There were many restaurants and bars right up the street from the hotel, in addition to a conveniently located grocery store. The bed was very comfortable and wasn't the traditional European bed with two separate beds. Was also nice to have one huge duvet for two people. The shower was nice and we were pleasantly surprised to find a large tub in the room. Would definitely stay here again!

2 mins from Train station, cost me EU4.70 and under 20 mins to get to hotel from the airport. Brand new hotel, very spacious room, full bathroom, safe in room, free internet. Hotel is 2 train stops from Center of Amsterdam. The only negative for me is the European style beds. They put to single mattresses together to get to king size, that's not good, they bloody slide apart. Also, mattress had no firmness whatsoever, NONE! Other then that, a perfect stay. Hotel has an indoor pool, gym, 2 saunas FREE! Very quite, pleasant stay if compared to center of city.

The hotel and the area around are adorable. The train station is next to the hotel and there are restaurantes around with very decent prices. There is also a supermarket some steps away from the hotel. The beds are super comfortable and the swimming pool has a mural of windmills that make you feel that you are swimming in Zaanse Shaans. The view from the pool is amazing. We enjoyed the gym and the steam room. The receptionist who checked me in was very nice but there was another woman in the reception who had an atittude when I asked her questions. She doesn't match with the quiality of the hotel. In general, we are very satisfied with the hotel and we would come back again and recommend it.

Overall, the quality of the room/amenities were excellent. They'd overbooked the room type that we initially requested, so we got a free upgrade! We interacted with several different staff members at the reception desk over the 4 day stay, and everyone was exceptionally friendly and willing to help/answer questions. The Inntel has what are quite possibly the most comfortable beds ever. The room was a bit small, but standard for European hotels. Our room had both a walk-in shower and a large bathtub. I usually had the steam room, sauna, and pool all to myself! It was awesome. The fitness room only had a few pieces of equipment (elliptical, treadmill, a few weights), but working out on a vacation is overrated anyway. There is free wi-fi in the rooms, and even 2 or 3 computers in the lobby which are free for hotel guests to use. The hotel is about a 2 minutes walk from Zaandam station, from where you can take a train directly to the airport (~25 minutes) or to Amsterdam Centraal (~15 minutes). The last train leaves Amsterdam for Zaandam just after 1am, which should be late enough for most people. The downsides: it's nearly impossible to get food around the hotel after 9pm, and everything else in Zaandam closes early, too. There is a lot of construction going on around the hotel so some of the area is unsightly, but we were not disturbed by loud noises in the morning on any of the 4 nights we stayed. Bottom line: If I ever return to Amsterdam area, I would not think twice about booking at the Inntel Zaandam again.

Hotel was fantastic! The people were so friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel special. The room was beautiful and the bed and linens were outstanding!! There was a window in the bathroom that faced out to the room that was a little bit odd, but unless you were peeking around the side of the bed you couldn't see anyone doing their business. The huge bathtub was a plus after a long day of walking, but there was also a seperate shower. The room was very clean and comfortable, we would definately stay there again. The only thing I would warn against would be the 16 euro per person breakfast...not worth the price! No worries though, there is a bakery and food store right down the street!

We had a bit difficulty in finding the hotel, as we didn't realize that it was right next to the train station. At our arrival we found the hotel staff very friendly and the hospitality was apparent. I wouldn't recommend to have breakfast at the hotel, as the choice is a bit limited and also quite expensive. The room was really well equipped with all the necessities, and the fact that it's situated so close to the train station was really a comfort. We could reach Amsterdam central within 16 minutes, and the airport within 20 minutes. The overall standard is good.
