Wanda the manager was so nice she let us check in early and we enjoyed the pool as well as our room very quiet place . Looking forward to breakfast and relaxing in the hour tub that's in our room as well.
This seemed like a newer hotel. Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Everything was in good order. Staff was helpful. Pool was very nice. Hot tub did not work. Overall, the hotel was a great price, clean, safe, and a great value! One of the best Quality Inn hotels in which I've stayed.
First off if I could give this hotel a 0 star I definitely would! I will start off with my first stay here which was sometime mid march when my father in law passed away and we had to travel to Yuma for his funeral services! We booked with this hotel looked nice and smooth at first, when we get to our room we realize we had no towels, my husband proceeds to go down stairs to ask for some as he is speaking with front desk water starts coming out of ceiling on to the front desk computer and all over my husband! Make matters worse the carpet on first floor got flooded total bad experience! We were told that for the inconvenience on our next stay we would get an awesome deal!! Well boy were they wrong! Two months later we wanted to come again to visit my father in laws grave and decided to take up on that great deal offer, I called only to be told I would be put into a suite and they gave me a discount rate for the troubles from last time, the rate of 69.99 a night! To me sounded great for a suite right? WRONG I check in only to find out that the price they gave me was for anybody else no discount what so ever and I wasn't put in a suite I was put in a regular two queen bed room, I was also told we could not use the elevators they were not working! Problem number one and two there but I decided Im going to let it go I will not let this trip be ruined by small crap. Well after a swim in the pool we return up to our room only to find that we could not use the shower or toilets the water was shut down since they had another flood!!! Just my luck! I go downstairs to speak to front desk to see if I could get reimbursed so I could go to another hotel The gal at the front desk was very helpful and sympathized with me and understood my problems but it was out of her hands to help us she said she would get hold of Rhonda who I believe was supervisor, Rhonda stated I could not get a refund at all for sure! She was told in order to help me She would have to call the Manager whose name is RIKKI MANN. At the moment Rikki could not speak to me because she was on the road however she received a text message with my name and number to call me back that same day which no surprise she never did call! Next day I spoke to an amazing lady named Yolanda at front desk who was very sweet and helpful also I think out of the whole stay there she was the only good thing about it, she remembered my stay the previous time and all of my troubles she said she would call Rikki and have her call me to figure something out i waited and waited and received the call from Yolanda to tell me at first Rikki only wanted to give me extra points for staying with them, but then came back with a BETTER offer she was going to discount $10.00 off my stay or $10.00 off my next stay oh my goodness how could I pass that deal right! Ridiculous that not only would this manager not speak to me directly but that thats the ridiculous offer she had! So on my last night there I also witnessed there handy man who was helping them w all the troubles there fall through the ceiling I later went to ask how he was doing only to find out he had broken ribs! I really hope and pray they take better care of their employees than their guests!!! I urge all of you to avoid staying at this hotel!!! I certainly will never stay here again such a disappointment and so sad that guests are treated like this! I used to work at hotels and know that this is not the way for anyone to be treated especially returning guests!!!
Comfortable, clean room met all our needs for two weeks. Close to restaurants & shopping. Staff were knowledgeable, pleasant & accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel. This was our second stay and plan to stay again in the future when we go Yuma this coming winter.
I checked in around 10pm and the front desk person was so polite, helpful and very happy to help! Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and was decent. Usual amenities. A good hotel for the money.
Stayed here on a pre-paid reservation in Feb. TOLD them at check in I was prepaid. They confirmed and took my card "just for incidentals". When I checked out I told them again - I was prepaid - so don't bill my card. They said "okay". Later that week I saw they HAD billed my card again. I called them - they sounded confused and untrained, but said they would reverse the charge. It would take 5-10 days. Two weeks later it was still on my card. I called the National customer support number and THEY called the hotel - I was told it would be reversed and that the Yuma hotel would call me. Two weeks later no call - no reversal. I called the national number again - and they called Yuma again - I got assurances but still no change. As if that wasn't bad enough I just noticed the Yuma hotel tried to bill my card AGAIN just a few days ago!!! Reporting fraud to my visa card. Reporting them as a "stay away from" company to my government travel company that booked it. Super shady. Don't stay there. Something isn't right.
Great breakfast, comfortable beds and cheap prices. Great location. The pool has just been redone so was only available for 2 days of our stay. Really helpful front desk. Just acroooss the street from the Golden Corral..The best place to eat in Yuma.
This place needs some work. The room was fine. It was clean and comfortable, but the halls, stairwells, etc. were dirty and in need of replacing. We didn't use the pool, but it looked like it had not been cleaned and I would not have used it even if I wanted to. Breakfast was okay. It was definitely overpriced for what it was.
The Comfort Inn in Yuma is a great hotel however it was booked up so the desk person recommended the Quality Inn on the other end of town. At first glance the outside was attractive and the front of the house looked nice. As I walked down the hall to my room I noticed the doors were beat-up looking and the tile in the stairwells was dirty. My room smelled like cheap perfume/air freshener which is not a substitute for a good cleaning. The furniture was very cheap/outdated. My attempt at a morning shower was a no-go. Each time I lifted the diverter for the shower the faucet went flying off to the back of the tub. Paid my bill and left but will never stay here again. This is the first time I've posted a negative review of any hotel.
It took us an eternity to check in at this hotel, in spite of our confirmations etc etc. We then thought that we were in for a bad stay, but it came good. A good night's sleep and an ample breakfast helped (although I do hate those 'solid' American omelettes, frozen I think, that are just micro-waved....omelettes should consist of two or three fresh eggs whipped in a bowl and tossed into a smokingly hot pan and whirled with a fork for 1/2 minutes, and then tossed and served with a slightly runny inside and a slightly brown 'burnt' outside...delicious!!). Parking was easy, as was check out.
