Hotel is in disrepair. Needs maintenance desperately. Staff at noon very rude. We know it was early but thought we would ask while in the area to check in. Response rude. Thanks to the front desk staff in the evening our visit was not totally a bust. Breakfast awful. Eggs were overcooked - green and brown. Staff snapped back there was nothing wrong with them, cooked in microwave and had no choice.. Took them to front desk and saw no reaction. Waffle advertisement on wall, no waffles. Rolls not replenished half way through breakfast. No soap in dispensers in public restroom. Plaster dust on floor and wall in room. When asked about cookies normally offered were discontinued due to food inspectors. Sink drain very slow, long black hair left on sink. No local channels on TV. Prices functioning by $40.00 is 2 days of searching.
Cleanliness is not a priority at this hotel. The stairwell and hallways were not vacuumed during our stay. The pool and hot tub areas were also not cleaned. The vanity light had a short in it and would not turn on until switch was wiggled, and the outlet in the vanity area did not work. Problem was reported but not fixed. Breakfast was good but frequently ran out of coffee and food. The only gal running the kitchen was working as fast as she could. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It seems to me they could use more help.
Had a family emergency, that brought me to Yuma. After my flight arrival, which was almost midnight, I took a taxi to the hospital and at about 1:15am decided to get a room and rest. Everything in Yuma was Sold Out, what??? Why?? Then I was informed by the Fantastic Security Gaurd at the hospital that a Rodeo was in town...who knew that Yuma was so popular?? After several phone calls to just about every Motel & Hotel in Yuma, thankfully Tiffany at the Quality Inn had a room for two nights with two double beds. Got a taxi and arrived at 2am $99.89 each for two nights, plus tax, around $218 no discount for arriving at 2am but did get a AAA discount. Not bad, comfortable bed with a fridge and microwave, breakfast was enough to start the day. I would not recommend booking for a vacation or a get-a-way, but for my needs, it was just fine. Tiffany was very nice and I appreciate her time. Thank you.
Check in at front desk went smoothly, but room was not ready at 3PM as promised. Finally allowed to enter room at 3:30. Hallways and stairs obviously hadn't been vacuumed in a while. Not a bad odor in room, but not pleasant, either. Just didn't get that "pride of ownership" feeling. I slept well in comfortable bed. TV stations limited to some kind of issue with cable company. Tough to find a channel with local news. At breakfast, there were no spoons and no waffle machine. Eggs and sausage were OK. I would not stay here again, there are many other hotels in the area to check out.
We ran into several problems with our stay. When we booked the room it was for 2 queen size beds. Upon our arrival we had 2 full size beds. When we brought up the discrepancy, we were told that they only had full beds. We showed them that we booked queen beds and they then proceeded to tell us that the sheets were queen, as if that made a it better. Not to mention that the lady behind the counter was very rude and condescending. Next is breakfast. It was lack luster to say the least. In addition, they have pictures of waffles everywhere with out even a frozen waffle in sight. The physical condition of the building is something else. Wallpaper peeling, electrical tape holding door handles together, barely warm water in the shower to name a few. And physical security...what security. The doors that were supposed to be accessed by key card at night where always open. This place is not worth staying. There are many more options that will provide better accommodations without the headaches. Do not stay here
I stayed here during a two week business trip to the Yuma Proving Grounds. This is an older hotel that is really showing its age. The furniture is scarred and has cigarette burns (even though it is now totally non-smoking), the doors are banged up, and the carpet in my room had a large hole in it. It does appear that housekeeping is trying to keep it clean looking, it doesn't appear neglected, just old. The exterior doors have card readers, but they don't work. Anyone can open one of the side or back doors and walk in which could be a security problem, although nothing happened while I was there. It would just have been nice to see that they were secure. Housekeeping was somewhat erratic; some days they would come in and take the used towels and not replace them. Once I had to go to the front desk when I came back and found there were no towels. The sheets were never changed during my two week stay. On the plus side, the king size bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked very well, which are two of the things that are important to me when I must stay away from home. The complimentary breakfast was quite good also. Each day there was sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, as well as the usually assortment of cereals, breads, rolls and yogurt. It was always fresh tasting and you frequently saw the attendant replenishing the food. The staff was very friendly, saying good morning when one of them saw me in the hall or lobby. The desk clerk was very pleasant at check in and gave me good advice on local restaurants and attraction on the weekend. All in all it was a good stay, but the facilities need some TLC.
We stayed for one night as we had appointments in Algadones. The room was a king bed, the sheets were stained, the bedspread was stained also the pillow cases. The door latch at the top was broken. Furniture was rough shape. After reading some comments on this place, found others have had the same issues we would have chosen another place to stay.
Had a great room which was super clean with a comfy bed, great pillows, large tv. Also had fridge, microwave and great little coffee pot. The breakfast was above average. Didnt try the pool...too cold. Everyone was super friendly
Just passing through... stopped at this hotel and was very pleased. Nice staff, attentive, good rooms and a good breakfast. It is becoming a competitive issue about quality of breakfast...this would win the race.
Front Desk was very Accomodating and Friendly. Quick check in. Family Friendly warm staff. Nice and close to Movie theater & Mall. Definetly we will be returning. Also plenty of parking space for our toy-hauler, atv's, sand rails. Great enjoyable and relaxing.
